Shame he didn't do something sensational but 11th, even in a good car, on your first F1 race with only 1 practice qualifying run and next to no preparation beyond that is an achievement. Fair play to the kid. Verstappen looking even stronger than last week is an ominous sign. Leclerc seems to think Ferrari have the race pace to spring a surprise - I really hope he's right but I'm not sure I see it.

Fair enough. I know so little about the sport I have no idea what the details are that differentiate driver quality. I just occasionally enjoy watching bits and pieces. Tbf Hamilton was a bawhair away from another World Championship at both ends of his career, and in 2021 he only lost because he was cheated. Can be fun to discuss though.
I was just about to type that after 6 laps I'm already bored and something needs to happen and Stroll delivers what this race might just need Who are we kidding after a couple laps it'll be procession again. Hamilton and Norris not pitting will prove to be a mistake unless we get another safety car basically straight away.
