while not really a fan anymore I watch the video of this. I'm sure thr pops were huge on the night. but my god cena. First he could not run at all and waddled down more than anything and then his sad bald spot what hilarious. then I can understand the taker pop though it was all very just wait a while wait a while but no costume? if you dim the lights so he can slowly be lifted into the ring to avoid popping a hip out he could still wear the coat and hat and do the eyes.
Night 2 certainly flowed better than night 1 imo. Thought Seth vs Drew was probably my favourite from the weekend (Drew tweeting "Bored at work LOL" mid match was gold) and the match was great, and the cash in was very well done, though Punk's commentary was annoying. I enjoyed Bailey/Iyo, thought Knight/Styles was okay and the Philly street fight was fun. Didn't really click with Orton/KO/Paul like others did. I enjoyed the main event more than I thought I would, I expected the overbooking to be too much but I actually thought it was done well (makes sense that Taker may have been a late replacement, why he would otherwise care about the match I don't know, and also I think Austin would have been too much) - Cody and Roman managed to have a decent enough 20 minute match before any of the run ins, and then the run ins were all roughly in their own segment, so it didn't take away from the winner at all. It needed to be chaotic for Reigns to finally lose, and overall I think it was done right.
When I hear a person who says they don't like Wrestling because it's fake all I think of is well do you watch films and soaps because you think they are real . Just say you don't like Wrestling instead of putting the fake thing in because it is a art
Sadly no anticipated debuts.... But you know what? I think WWE is stacked out at present and doesn't necessarily need anyone to come straight in at the top so it may be a blessing for some potential future stars
i think they have both declared for the upcoming Draft. I was talking about an outsider joining or debuting - MJF was always going to be an extremely long shot, but rumours that Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga have signed deals maybe they could have crashed the Rock/Rhodes segment?
Would make more sense for Tama & Jacob Fatu to be on Smackdown tbf considering that's where the Bloodline are. And Giulia is going NXT first I think. Would not mind a Bloodline civil war storyline where The Rock recruits Tama & Jacob to form his own version and feuds with Roman, Solo & Jimmy. Maybe have them both competing to recruit Zilla Fatu too if he is coming in at some point.
It's hard to look into things too much with the draft happening in a couple of weeks. I imagine Priest will move over to SD and Cody will continue on Raw.
Is is getting a bit, and has his fair share of attitude era chair shots to the head. He maybe just got them mixed up.
retired or not, i thought the doctrine within wrestling was that you always had your gear with you 'just in case'
He didn't even need to go full "deadman" persona. Just wear some leather and ditch the beanie, mate. Maybe he's just a bit self conscious because people are calling Priest the bisexual Undertaker.
Could also just thrown on a leather jacket and bandana to be the American Badass version. Easier to pack, that!
