Saliba is on the young one like a few others but not on the main one is weird like. Isak feels so out of place in the list I can't lie.

Isak doesn't bother me. 20 goals coming at a goal every 100 minutes isn't to be scoffed at.

At 24 on the young player list?

    Totally wrong.

No issue with him getting recognition but not on that list.

I'm not even giving any time or credit to that 'young' player list. It's a joke what they consider young.

Think he's benefited from recency bias tbh.

You could apply the same logic to Cole Palmer :shrug

I guess but Palmers numbers are absurd regardless given his relative inexperience and the state of that Chelsea team.

Huh? He's been consistent throughout the season?

I have no issue with Cole Palmer being on there but the idea that recency bias is in Isak's favour is silly considering no one was talking about Cole Palmer being player of the season before this run of form he went on. 15 of his 37 G/A has come in the last 8 weeks. That's nearly half of his numbers.

Palmer has only come into the conversation for the main award because of the last two months. That's the very definition of recency bias. But I don't care because the award is for the season. I don't subscribe to recency bias.

Nah that's bollocks. Palmer was getting YPOTS shouts as early as November. Only Watkins, Haaland, and Salah had more goal contributions than him before the start of the new year.

Yes, young player of the season. Not, player of the season.

Ultimately it's irrelevent. I've said twice now I got no beef with him being on there. Or Isak

Some ridiculous inclusions here ffs. Van Dijk especially, although i’ll be accused of all sorts from the Liverpool fans on here for saying that. Plenty been better than him/had better seasons.

Kobbie Mainoo looks a great prospect but he’s season as been one big hype job.

Klopp hasn’t had a great season. Certainly to be nominated for manager of the year. That’s a sentiment nomination, that. A quarter of the managers are up for the award. Brilliant.

    POTS:
    Foden

    YPOTS:
    Saliba

    MOTS:
    Arteta (If Arsenal win title)
    Emery (If Arsenal don’t)

All I know is Mac Al
Personally don't think Van Dijk has been our best player this season but he isn't the worst inclusion on that shortlist imo.

On Klopp. We rebuilt our whole midfield and finished 5th last season so to be comfortably 3rd with so many injuries is a brilliant season.

Foden will be 28 years old and will still get nominated for young player of the season.

I like Mainoo but him making that list is an absolute joke

Purely on there because of who he plays for.

If Luton somehow stay up, surely Rob Edwards would rightly win MOTS?
