Poty - Gotta go Macca he has transformed our midfield as a 6 he was pretty good but pushed further forward when Endo found his groove he has been phenomenal.

    Ypoty -
Harvey Elliott easy. He is just a brilliant little footballer runs his socks off every week and whenever he is on the pitch we just look better.

    Underrated -
Gonna go with Luis Diaz for this one he infuriates me most of the time but he's so useful to have with his ball retention and driving runs forward when we need to relieve pressure. Hope he stays under Slot.

    Goal of the season -
Trent against City at the Etihad their probably are better goals but that is my favourite.

    Best moment -
Winning the league cup with the kids was boss and just all the kids breaking through in general. Quansah, Clark, Bradley, McConnell, Danns etc.. future is bright.

Poty - MGW. We'd be lost without him. Even when he has a bad game, he's still influential. Will be sad to see him go when it inevitably happens.

    Ypoty -
Murillo. Possibly even Poty as well. To be playing professional football for a year, coming to a new country and doing as well as he has done is insane. I genuinely believe he will play at the highest, highest level.

    Underrated -
Ola Aina. Free signing, and he's been quality. Shame he's had a few injuries, but he makes a big difference when in the side.

    Goal of the season -
    Danilo away at Brentford.

    Best moment -
MGW scoring to put us 2-1 up against Utd.

Murillo does look very good remember watching a game a few weeks ago and he dribbled past about 5 players from CB lol.

Poty - Pascal Groß. Won our official fans POTS & players POTS and it’s fully deserved. For someone who seemed like he was on his way out under Potter it’s insane how important he still is for us. Double figure assists for the first time since we signed him.

    Ypoty -
Jack Hinshelwood came out of nowhere, was forced to play out of position and quickly became one of our most vital players. If he hadn’t picked up an injury then I’m not sure where his limit would have been this season.

    Underrated -
Jan Paul Van Hecke. Absolute colossus of a CB and probably the long term successor to Dunk. Made some serious progress this year.

    Goal of the season -
Bounanotte away at Sheffield United was a screamer, but would have to go with either Pedro v Marseille in the last minute or Pedeo v Palace to make it 4-1. That flick from Welbeck

    Best moment -
As a club it’s probably beating Marseille to top our Europa League group after starting so poorly, smashing Palace 4-1 was fun. On a personal level, probably sitting in a coffee shop in Amsterdam with my best mate and realising we were there to watch a team we used to watch routinely lose to Crewe. Proper “look how far we’ve come” moment.

Poty - Mateta won our actual award and although I don't disagree - I think Jefferson Lerma deserves it more. When we were terrible he was the guy in the middle of the park working tirelessly. Great footballer.

    Ypoty -
Jesse Derry won the award - academy player and I haven't seen much of him bar his goals. He hasn't played in the first team yet so not sure I could vote him. Olise is 22 and only played 17 times this season but scored 9 goals. Gotta be him.

    Underrated -
For anyone that rates Mainoo - wait till you get a load of Adam Wharton. Joined in January from Blackburn and has basically played every minute since. I'm putting him as underrated but actually he's more "under known."

    Goal of the season -
Olise against Luton. Run half of the pitch, cut inside and pings it top bins.

    Best moment -
For me - the run of games we've been on under Glasner. Seeing what we knew this team was capable of when we were complaining about Roy. Everyone gave us grief but the fans saw the potential of this team. Since Roy said we had been spoilt at home for losing 2-0 to Bournemouth we've gone on to beat Liverpool away (convincingly), smash Man Utd and West Ham at home with a combined 9 goals and played Newcastle off the park for a 2-0 win.

Poty - MacAllister. Its fairly obvious thst weve ran him into the ground as we ground to a hlat when he has looked jaded.

Nobody else has been as consistent or theyve been injured.

Ypoty - yes theres many options here even with all the lids coming in but probably just about Harvey Elliott. but for this season only as hes in 3rd full season so could be called an old pro lol.
Special mention to conor bradley and jarrel quansah here. Jones is too old To be considered.

i really think for breakout star of the uear we should be talking quansah

Underrated - joe gomez or endo i suppose. Joe gomez played 4 positions and let nobody down at any time. Endo did very well

Goal of the season - macallister long range effort v Fulham. Won goal of the month

Best moment - probably watching klopp smiling and laughing sending on kids in extra time. One momemt would be jayden danns goal.

    Poty

    Rodri
    - been great as usual but has to be Foden , unbelievable season this year.

Ypoty - Oscar Bobb, needs push on with more games next season

Underrated - usually would go with Ake but as this player has had more games I'll go with Ortega

Goal of the season - Foden against United the screamer to make it 1 1, one of many great goals from Foden

Best moment - up to now it's being in that away end as Oscar Bobb scored the 92nd minute winner at Newcastle but we may have a double to win yet.

    Poty - Palmer. No question.

    Ypoty -
    = Gusto. Incredible back up.

    Underrated -
= Cucurella. Been fairly reliable at either flank and has done this new inverted role well.

    Goal of the season -
= Enzo v Villa FA Cup

    Best moment -
    = Palmer winner vs United.

Agree with most of this although I’d have Jackson over Cucurella.

Jackson has been slated for the majority of the season but has quietly gone about his business and not had a bad return for his first season in the PL. There’s plenty of work left to do but for £28m he’s been a good signing, IMO.

Cucurella has had a decent impact the last few games while his inverted into midfield but he’s had a bad habit of turning solid performances into disasters through unnecessary howlers so I’m not getting a carried away just yet

Poty - So tough. You could make the argument for five different players but I'm going to go for Bukayo Saka. Another season where he increases his output, another season playing his part and carrying the expectations of the club on his back. He's been doing this since he was 18.

    Ypoty -
This is really strange because there isn't one  So I have to be very creative here and give it to Chido Obi-Martin. He's breaking records at under 18 level and possibly may not even with us after this season.

    Underrated -
Leandro Trossard. Struggles to get his flowers within our fanbase lat alone outside of it. Big goals at big moments and forced his way into the starting XI.

    Goal of the season -
So difficult. I think for sheer hilarity alone as well as actually being an incredible strike, Declan Rice's screamer against West Ham. I feel like there is a better one but I can't recall it right now. Maybe Trossard against Everton, another top finish.

    Best moment -
Hopefully it hasn't happened yet ;) But if we don't win the league, winning the peanlty shootout against Porto. Felt like a collective weight off everyone's backs.

    PotY - Garnacho or Mainoo

    YPotY - See above

Underated - Dalot. One of the few players I wouldn't let go this summer. He has done well enough this season that RB is probably one of our lowest priorities now.

Goal of the Season - Garnacho's overhead vs Everton I think was this season.

Best Moment - I guess ruining Liverpool's season in conjunction with Everton is about as good as it got, which doesn't say much.

Damn you beat me too it lol, I'd have put Maguire as underrated though instead of Dalot.

POTY - Definitely Mateta for me. Bloke's completely transformed himself into a top striker and was already becoming a bit of a cult hero. Really glad he won it.

    YPOTY -
Wharton and Olise have been amazing recently but neither have really played enough to deserve an award. I'll give it to Guehi who's still only 23 despite playing like a prime 29-year-old most of the season. Been very good for England as well.

    Underrated -
Sam Johnstone. Near faultless before his injury. Couldn't understand why we signed Dean Henderson when we already had a class 'keeper and some of Henderson's wobbles have proven further how good SJ really is. Gutted for him he's missing the Euros as he's probably been the most consistent English 'keeper in the Prem this season.

    Goal of the season -
Eze's team goal at Liverpool won our vote but Olise v Luton has to win it for me. We've scored about 10 beauties this season including another Olise special on Monday.

    Best moment -
Ending Liverpool's title challenge, LOL. Jokes. As Shibby said the run we've been on over the past month or two has been amazing to watch. Glasner's transformed our team and when the majority are fit we're genuinely a match for anyone. West Ham at home was probably my favourite individual game. We absolutely destroyed them.

POTY - Got to be Mac Allister, been a wonderful buy and has looked far better than I expected.

YPOY - Same three candidates others have mentioned, Elliott who has ran himself into the ground for the cause this season, how he doesnt get mentioned for England is a crime. Quansah, wow, lad is pure class, dare I say it a Van Dijk clone, so good on the ball, so calm and a superb defender and how can we forget young Conor Bradley, came in when Trent got injured and to say we didnt miss Trent was an understatement, these three will be Liverpool regulars for the next decade. I'll go for Elliott, just over Quansah.

Underrated - Endo, was bought in as a cheap stop gap so wasnt expecting much, first few games he struggled with the pace of the league, but once he got to grips with it he was superb. has the odd average game mind you, but that can be expected, think he'll be much better next season.

Goal of the Season - Quite a few to pick from, but I'll go for Mac Allisters thunderbolt v Fulham.

Best Moment - Extra Time in League Cup Final, Klopp brings the kids on and they play Chelsea off the field.

POTY - Ollie Watkins. With two games to go he leads the league in goal contributions. Not bad for a kid who has come up through the divisions. Honourable mentions to Leon Bailey and Emi Martinez.

YPOTY - Morgan Rogers. Only been with us for half a season but has already made a big impression. He reminds me a little of Ruben Loftus-Cheek except he is able to pick a pass or score a goal at the end of his runs.

Underrated - Youri Tielemans. Took a few weeks to find his role but has been knitting our attacks together effectively ever since. Our performances in the past couple of weeks have dropped off a cliff since he got injured.

Goal of the Season - Douglas Luiz vs Nottingham Forest. Every Villa player touched the ball in a beautiful passing sequence before Luiz stroked it home.

Best Moment - Emi Martinez doing his dance after saving the decisive penalty in the Conference League quarter final shootout in front of 50,000 Lille fans who had been giving him pelters for 120 mins. In the Premier League it would be the 2-0 win over Man City. We had struggled to lay a glove on them for years until that match.

POTY - Mac Allister, wonderful little player and a proper midfield General. Kelleher deserves a mention for his brilliant displays in Alisson's absence.

    YPOY
-Either Quansah or Bradley ,Quansah just looks so composed for his age, like he's been around for years. I think in young Connor we've been crying out for years for a RB that gets himself to the byline and whips the ball into the area. I cant believe how technically good the lad is both in an attacking sense and defensively.

Underrated - Nunez ,we were flying at the top of the league and suddenly he went from being our main man to a bit part player when a seriously lagging Salah was reintroduced to the team and people wonder why his confidence is shot ?

    Goal of the Season
    - Szob's howitzer against Leicester or Macs equally thunderous rocket against Fulham

Best Moment - Van Dijks winner against Chelsea after having a perfectly and equally fine effort chalked off ,or Nunez's header against Forest in the final throes of the game.

Poty - Can't really argue with Mateta, but I think just about Ayew still deserved it. Was literally the only good player in the Roy part of the season. Was our best player in well over half the games in that time.

Ypoty - Shaun Derry's kid - hopefully he stays with us rather than buggering off to Wolves to join dad.

Underrated - Outside of the club I'd say Ayew. Within the club, Chris Richards for me. Top top player that gets overshadowed by Anderson and Guehi.

Goal of the season - Eze vs Liverpool

Best moment - Everything under Glasner

Worst moment - Everything under Hodgson

Solanke and Zabarnyi shared the various club and supporter awards. I think that’s fair, I’d have Solanke as Player of the year and Zabarnyi as Young Player.

Underrated: Marcos Senesi. Not often your CB gets 4 goals and more to the point 5 assists. Has a lot of midfielder attributes in terms of quality on the ball but he’s a real battler too. Not the fastest or the biggest but goes about his game very effectively.

Goal of the season: Semenyo’s hit up at Newcastle, absolute hammer. For comedy value, a shoutout for Coleman’s OG for us at home to Everton.

Best moment: The whole second half at Old Trafford. The moment, I guess when Senesi’s header hit the net for the 3rd. We thought we’d scored a 4th later which was absolute carnage, but that got disallowed!

Smashing two past City at the Etihad to draw after being 2-0 down in the 76th minute.

    Better? ;)
