Getting forgetful as the season draws to a close... Everton Spurs Solihull Real Madrid Leipzig Freeborn AC Meeeeeeelan Lustenau Anderlecht Molde NTS Sheff Utd
We came very close to things being very very tight as we head into the final week next weekend with Vanni and Daz_Blade heading towards full house bonuses after league leader Cal_BCFC saw his NTS fall earlier in the day. But in the end the full houses did come but not in the top 3 as StretfordEnd bags one of the full houses on his way to a weekly high score for the 3rd time this season and this propels Stret up to 5th and leaves the Battle of FF Towers going down to the wire. Borussia Teeth was the other player to bag a full house and his score sees him up 2 places to 13th but despite the full house, they don't claim the second highest score of the week as that goes to shudewill who is also an upward mover in the league, moving up a place to 7th at my expense. Heading back to the top of the table then and long time leader Cal_BCFC heads into the final week with a 13 point lead having managed to escape this week having only relinquished a point to Vanni who remains his nearest rival. Daz_Blade remains in 3rd place but isn't able to reduce the deficit at all this week. RedDogChris is the only other player to move in the table this week after a solid week saw him up a couple of places to 12th. Mini-League Series With one week left to go TLC is our new leader of The Super League group after a great week this week propels her into top spot with Spaceman Spiff maintaining second place as last weeks leader Super_horns drops down from top to just above the drop zone. That's the same drop zone that is occupied still by Garrincha and Cal_BCFC although they have swapped position with Garrincha having gone AWOL this week. In The Premier Division group Stretford End's fantastic week sees him take a 10 point lead into the final week with Vanni remaining in the other promotion spot. With a couple of no shows in this group this week, Daz_Blade is able to escape the bottom 2 and climb up to 3rd whilst I keep myself out of the bottom 2 with CFC91 joining Borussia Teeth in the relegation zone. It's all change in The Pub Division group as RedDogChris climbs to the top with Colinmorriswalksonwater climbing into the top 2 as Panja's no show sees him drop down to 3rd place. GOS Cup I should have guessed that the GOS Gods would do something like this as we only have one week left but remarkably we are not able to decide who reaches the final just yet as both semi finals have ended in 25 point draws. So the final game week is going to be a bit of cup spectacular as we will need to use the same week to decide the semi final and then the final so it is quite literally all to play with for our final 4! All of your scores for the week, along with the new table, GOS Cup results and the latest mini-season tables can now be found below. Navigate through the different weeks by clicking on the tabs at the bottom. If you spot an error then just let me know! The players are in alphabetical order to give you a clue as to how far you have to scroll right to find your scores and it is still the same in that the league tables include the number of Full Houses (FH), Not To Scores (NTS) and Double Points Selections (DB) you've been successful with as well as your total points. I will use those 3 things (in this order) to determine the outcome of any ties Player of the Month: August - @Panja September - @Garrincha October - @Cal_BCFC November - @StretfordEnd December - @TLC January - @Borussia Teeth February - @Vanni March - @Vanni April - @Tomohawk May - ???
Some weeks I spend ages thinking about form etc. before making my GOS selections. Turns out the best method to secure a full house is just to throw random names out in 30s in a blind panic after the first two games have started.
