Who's ecstatic? It's just an important thing these days to have CL football to get or stay competitive, attract better players, have more finance to sign players and keep your better ones. Therefore we needed to take the opportunity that we had. At least Bayern have then taken a couple of their best players. It's not going to be an easy tie but at least it looks like we're seeded so avoid Sevilla and Napoli or Roma. A good job Dortmund won yesterday or we'd be looking at probably drawing one of those.

Let's be honest, it's way more tragic. Imagine what your kids would think of their dad spending every walking hour on a forum, trying to impress other people's kids instead of his own.
Pisses them right off. I tend to argue it more in a Moyes discussion. When people would always say what a brilliant job he did at Everton (and he did a good job overall, just hugely overstated) the first point would always be "He got Everton in the Champions League". He didn't. Everton got knocked out of Europe altogether before the CL draw was even made (a 5-1 thrashing to Dinamo Bucharest even losing the UEFA Cup qualifier). If Klopp loses the qualifier then he won't have got us in the CL.
