He ( Messi ) lives off that moment bragging about it when he is down the pub getting hammered on a Friday and Saturday night.
There are genuinely too many to mention, but one that really sticks in my mind is his performance at the Bernabeu in the CL Semi in 2011. Genuinely one of the greatest individual performances I have ever seen, and in a game of such magnitude too.
I've had the pleasure (pain) of watching Messi rip our defence to absolute shreds for 90 minutes on quite a few occasions. But the performance that stands out for me is the CL final of 2011. At that point, it seemed football was boring Messi. Yet in that game, what stands out so much for me is how he celebrated the 2nd and 3rd goals....he absolutely lost his shit and that's what I remember so vividly.
Well I have been fortunate enough to see the GOAT play live about 10 times. I love this goal: There are so many incredible goals though that it is very difficult to pick just one.
