What? Taking a quick corner? Get the ****, if thats cheating so is every quickly taken free kick, throw in, goalie kicking downfield, etc...outstanding alertness thats all. Last night Trent invented the new "quickly taken corner" much like we were told Beckham invented free kicks
I understand Kenny, you don't want to admit that one of your own could do such a disrespectful thing, but it's true. Here we go again
Just seen the corner, typical German tactics that absolute disgrace. I knew there must have been something.
Just shows that at the moment there is such a depth to the Premier league compared with other leagues. Potentially an all English final in both European comps is ridiculous dominance. And that's without the best team in the country involved.
Other than one freak result they haven't shown it recently! You guys have a better defence, better midfield, and better attack, plus your team looks fitter and fresher at the moment. I'd argue Ajax aren't as good as Spurs, but they have had some stunning results the last few years. I'll point out these kids made the EL a couple of seasons ago against us. I think they have more chance of keeping up with you, and are more likely to punish any mistakes. However, there is a big gulf in quality. You guys have to feel you all but have it in the bag.
So you don't think Trent put in a world class performance last night against one of the best teams in the world, in a semi-final of the Champions League? And also contributing to 12 Premier League goals as well from right back isn't playing at a world class level? Give the lad credit surely...
Woke up this morning with a splitting headache and no recollection whatsoever about what happened last night .
6 teams well capable of winning European trophies be it CL or Europa. It'd be good to see Wolves (or Watford) have a good go next season too. Spain have been dominating for a long team with Sevilla and Atletico with multiple Europa League wins and later stages of CL, Barca and Real multiple CL. Valencia in the semis of Europa this year, Villareal the quarters. Beyond these 2 leagues there just isn't the depth anywhere else.
He put in a world class performance last night yes but does he consistently every game play to that level? No. He’s had a cracking season for sure, best young player in the league but there is some small improvements he needs to make, which he will with experience. He will be world class one day if he continues. Get that drunk did you?
