    We played each other in the 96/97 season and 97/98

    Both 0-0 at Adams Park and we won 1-0/2-1 at Vicarage Road

    The 2nd home game was the day after Princess Di's funeral so Elton John was there.

    Feel sorry for Pompey losing in the semis again but nice to have a new face in either Oxford or Wycombe up. lets just hope it’s a more competitive final than League 2.

    So monday will be the biggest night in our club's history and no doubt we'll be the underdogs but we like it that way, our fans motto is "The Wycombe way is the hard way". It's a one off game that won't be pretty to watch but we'll put up one hell of a fight as this chance may never come around again for us and with Fred Onyedinma back to his best after 5 months out injured you never know. If we lose i doubt we'll be favourites for relegation next season which will make a nice change :laugh:

    They did, extremely unnecessary by Brown to risk it but it evened out a bit after the first leg.
