What does that matter? We've earned the right to play in The Championship something i could never even have imagined in the 46 years i've supported Wycombe Wanderers, if we come straight back down we'll just have to get promoted again :laugh:

Earned it? Without the PPG method being bought in you would of never made the play offs. 8th up to 3rd? Do me a favour. What a joke that is. All you did was play counter attacking football and got lucky. Every dog has its day. Enjoy your 1 season in the championship. It will be your last

When they had the fire at the train station a few years ago now always remember I had to clear out the burnt out ticket office
Upon finding a Oxford United mug on a the shelf ,so with me being a lower league footy fan decided to smash the thing against the wall .
If your lucky he or she might still be working there so pop down and have a gloat

@jonesy_29 what made you 'walk away' from being a Brentford fan?

**** me, don't even go there, honestly. The bloke needs therapy but won't admit it. Sad really.

I don’t need therapy at all. I’m absolutely fine. I think it is perfectly acceptable that if something doesn’t make somebody happy they walk away from it.

Our whole football pyramid is set up so smaller clubs can progress if they are run well, get a decent manager and build a talented squad.

Its the beauty of our game - if you get stale you will be replaced. No other Leagues in the world get such a diverse throughput and it's why The Prem is not set in stone who wins every year or stays up like all other Leagues.

Despite the big boys, the FA and EFL trying to **** it up

Put it this way, the cabbies of Wycombe will be delighted at the thought of all those bumper away crowds next season. I’ve enjoyed my 3 trips there but that’s probably due to them being

    1) when I was about 10/11 and Wycombe agreed to let our fans stage a demonstration after the game where we stayed behind for over an hour protesting about our new ground.

    2) when I was 14/15 I went there twice in the space of a month(ish) and saw us draw 4-4 and win 5-2

Cant imagine I’d have enjoyed it as much if it had been a dour 0-0.

Doesn't matter what their fanbase is, they have earned the right to compete in the Championship same as we have earned the right to be relegated lol. By your reckoning we should just forget clubs with smaller catchment areas should we? FFS Brentford are doing great and will be very unlucky if they don't get promoted this season.....while we are at it lets limit the FA cup to clubs of average crowds of 15k and over.....just behave mate, seriously

Presumably they had games in hand?.....PPG is a reflection on the points per game they had is it not?.....

Theoretically let’s just say you won your last 5 game’s, suddenly you deserve to have the PPG system put you down as unbeaten until the end of season under the PPG method? It’s absolute bollocks. Wycombe would never of finished in the play offs and now they are a championship side. It’s just such a waste of time for all involved. The stadium, the team and the club is not at that level. It is going to be one hell of a shock for that club when they start playing in that league how huge the gap is.

jonesy...are you also saying Derby are not a big club?...not worthy of playing in the top flight because of one very bad season?...they have actually won the top division twice and been runners up three times...unless I missed summat?:confused

You’re a c*nt and very very boring pal. Why are you in the championship forum if you’re such a glory hunting little prick and don’t support your local, championship team? Do us all a favour, and f*ck right off. Sincerely, the entire championship forum x

EFL need to grow a spine. Too busy allowing crooks destroy good clubs like Wigan and Bury.
