Thought he looked half decent for Lincoln when we played them last season. On a day when they didn't create much he was the main one that looked like doing something.

He would have been 4th choice striker after Lacazette, Nketiah and Martinelli if he stayed so he's on the cusp of breaking into the first team squad.

Had a loan at Lincoln last season got a goal in 7 appearances so maybe ask them because they'll have seen him in more competitive football than I have.

Apparently Brandon Hanlan has signed for Gas, what's more they actually paid money for him for which we Gills fans are very grateful for because we would have paid you to take him.

Other news, we've been linked to Devante Cole. I'm a bit underwhelmed with his scoring record, even if it is better than Hanlan's. Any fans (Donny) care to enlighten us with his attributes if there are any?

I didn’t get chance to see much of him but I wasn’t too impressed when I did. Speaks volumes that we only gave him a 6 month contract in January but gave Okenabirhie a longer deal

Very lazy and uninterested 95% of the time. Wouldn't back him to score double figures.

Attacks all sorted. Just need that extra defender, right back and DM and were done!

Cracking signing at this level if you can get him back on form

Although he had a poor season at Scunny I wouldn’t be against Butler getting a contract as 4th choice

A defensive midfielder would be the priority for me

Andy Butler confirmed back at Rovers. Bet he can’t wait to power home a last minute header against that snake McCann

 £50 on Doncaster to get relegated.

Butler was getting outclassed and outpaced in League 2 last season. Deary me.

He’ll be used very sparingly and in the tinpot cup I’d imagine

Great, I hope the FA Cup 1st round draw is kind and pairs us together.

I’m hoping for Liverpool home or away in the 3rd round.

PS - I was actually going to bet on Donny to finish top half, 1/1 odds... there’s always 1 shock team who overachieves.
