another totally disgraceful defensive performance by Dover probably making Barnet think they are good team i'm sure
not helped by the inept manager making a triple substitution which was immediately followed by James Caton going off with yet another injury
so 3-0 down 1/3 of match to go -no way back
then at 4-0 we saw Barnet players running to the ref trying to get us down to 9 - wankers

Well, not quite a mincer job at the Rec, but pretty much rinsed and hung out to dry. County got a couple of goals, then ensured they didn’t concede, and used the time for a training session. Shots were pathetic , but probably struggling with the world-famous 5-5-0 formation. Must have been an excruciating watch for hapless BT punters.
We are once again very fortunate that there are only 3 places on the trapdoor.
    Roll on end -of-season.

Now you're officially down what's it looking like for next season? Has this season just been 'tear it up and start again in 12 months' or is next season looking as bleak as this one?

the silence from the club [ie the chairman] is deafening.
heard the other day the spunking his way to the title next season is his plan - the bloke's a twat - he should have used his money to keep the club going last season
1 thing's for sure the manager & current squad will likely lead to another relegation

The owner has certainly got the cash if he does want to go for it next season but as you say, why not spend it last season and this. There's not loads of competition at the top of the South for someone to spend their way to the title, especially if Dorking and Maidstone aren't about.

Hasn't Hessenthaler (sp) lead you to more than respectable finishes in this league in the past?

The chairman probably sacked this season off before it even started given the points deficit.

he only managed up to NLS in his 1st spell, them 14th & 11th in this. Kinnear got us to 8th, 5th, 6th 8th

if he hadn't sacked off last season he needn't have sacked off this season with a 40k fine & -12points

They're not officially down yet, they can still finish on 35 points while we're 20th on 31.

I imagine they'll actually be relegated on the 19th if they lose their next 2 against Halifax and Yeovil

Sam Beard actually defused the situation with Pavey losing his head and ref could of easily sent him off after lack of discipline.

Nice that we finally battered a team. Dover were on the ropes first 30 mins.

Fell apart and we picked them off

It wasn't as good as Tuesday but it wasn't bad either. Usual story really...we should have won it but didn't.

Southend were obviously much improved from our earlier encounters but their two goals arose from **** ups on our part...Weston's awful pass back leading to the pen and Kerr's og. We really should have put the game to bed with Quigley spooning over the bar from 3 yards out, then forcing the keeper into an excellent low save from a header, and Rowley's fine effort hitting the bar.

Unfortunately for us the table is based on the final score though. Bleedin' technicalities...

A very good set of results for us, but for Solihull and Notts coming back to draw it’d been a perfect day. Back in the mix now

We should still have won at Notts even after their injury time equaliser, but Reid let the ball run under his foot in frint of goal. If we had one half decent striker we'd be in the play offs.

Yeah crazy that one, Disley chucked himself on the floor with barely any contact for our 90+6 pen too although despite having to score twice in injury time to get a draw I remember we actually played really good that night and should have been a couple ahead before you first went in front.

And they're playing each other on Tuesday, so beat Southend and we'll leapfrog one of them into the playoff spots regardless of their result. It's officially back in our hands. We're such an odd team, we're actually probably playing worse than we were at the arse end of our slump back in Jan, but we're just picking up points now.
