There was an older steward amongst them when they were throwing coins and did absolutely nothing, truly incredible. As soon as I saw that, I properly kicked off at the stewards for not doing their job and thankfully some extra security came in. Adults in our end getting wound up by kids though is embarrassing, just ignore them. No issue with the result yesterday, Stuart Maynard said it perfectly - the referee was awful and yet we were somehow still worse. Big couple of games coming up now.
There’s a picture doing the rounds on Twitter of Abrahams cupping his ear at the Woking fans after our goal and everyone’s loving it, but when wankers like Bromley do it to us we’re all in uproar. I personally hate shit like that and no idea why Abrahams does it as he shushed the Dover fans last week too, different if you’re a player whose been getting shit all game from fans but that’s not the case with either of these. No need winding fans up IMO.
We were definitely good value for the point, no doubt about it. And whilst there is a lot of mention of Quigley's miss costing Chesterfield a possible win, in a game of if's, it is conveniently overlooked that if Powell had buried his opportunity when through one on one with Loach, we'd have won 3-2. So, almost the perfect draw, if there is such a thing, where both sides could point to chances to win the game, but both could look back and be thankful they didn't lose.
We've been playing Dover every week for the 6 games except for Notts though. Lets see what happens when we play some good sides! 5 of our last 6 games were against sides in the bottom 6
Grimsby doing a Chesterfield then. Season was declared over a few weeks ago and now promotion is officially back ON.
Still fuming at that Fraser Kerr sub yesterday. Completely unnecessary, we were under no pressure whatsoever and the change actually invited pressure instead. And when that donkey Kerr is on the pitch I’m never confident, absolutely useless
Not forgiven. Southend have been condemned to non-league forever. This punishment is known as 'The Wrexham'.
If you won't forgive me, I promise you one thing, we won't be down here as long as you lot have been. Since 07-08 is it?
