Bromley have given us a 1000 tickets for trophy which sold out in 24 hours and won’t give us anymore.
About 300 Woking at The Hive in a crowd of 1,501 with around 12-15 Posh fans with QPR changing kick off time & day 3 times .
Interesting. I wonder where the extra 200 will be housed. It can't be in the same stand we were in. We originally had 800 allocated which we sold out but then the match ended up being postponed and I think we took about 700 for the rearranged Tuesday match but there's no way another 300 could have fitted on there.
I'm guessing you were in the same spot as us? Down the side, open terrace, with the stand with a tiny roof to your right? Dugouts to your left? I couldn't actually see what was beyond the dugouts so perhaps additional away fans could go there?
Yep, that was it. Had a very weird bar system where you paid for your drinks at one end then received them at the other. Nothing to track who ordered what so it was very open to abuse.
Haha I didn't even attempt the bar but I did quite like their setup with a few benches and a roof (?), felt like an actual little pop up bar or something. Just a shame it caters for about 20 people and not 7/800!
There is yet more open terrace, I've been there for Cray games and I'm always surprised Bromley don't offer the entire side to away teams who would be able to fill it Bromley are never going have enough fans in there to need it. It's easy to partition off from the the big stand behind the goal as well.
That makes it even more odd. Have Southend been there yet this season? I'd imagine you'd sell 1500+ if it's a Saturday 3pm kickoff and they were available. Makes me wonder what they're gonna do if they manage to get a home playoff tie (something that is now admittedly looking a lot less likely than a month or so ago).
Yeah, Boxing Day, 800 tickets given and not one more. Theoretically they could even give some seating to away support if there were large enough numbers as you could cordon off the end of the stand behind the goal as well, basically like the setup at Woking.
640 sold as of this morning for Maidenhead away tomorrow night, out of an initial allocation of 700. Hopefully we can be allocated some more as it looks like there will be sufficient demand.
