We had two left sided players (Humphreys and Bramall) go off with hamstring injuries on Saturday so we might well have to give 37 year old Richard Wood a midweek start, which we don't normally do.
Peltier may come in for Humphreys and Ferguson for Bramall.

Not sure whether we will play the Arsenal lad Norton Cuffy because Barker was saying it's asking a lot for an 18 year old to cope with 2 games in 4 days in this league, but I hope he does because he was brilliant on Saturday.

We play a very different way to last season, having lost Smith and Ladapo so not as much long stuff up to the forwards because that's not Washington and Ogbene's game.

Of course it's been difficult to prepare for this match with Alex Neil moving on but one thing for sure is that it will be tough and if we can get a point it will be hard earned.

Hope its a good game and best of luck for the season, after tonight of course.

Huddersfield at home tonight. I'd go with the below:

    Bentley
    Vyner Naismith Atkinson
    Sykes Scott Massengo Da Silva
    Weimann
    Semenyo Conway

That front 3 looks devastating in fairness.

    3-1 City.

Is it that bad that you don't care what team scores?!

Almost. In fairness, other than the Cardiff game (and the Luton game to an extent) we are actually playing really well. It’s frustrating.

Good win last night, with a typical Luton hard fought away performance. After a shaky start we are starting to show the same form we had last season. Wigan at home Saturday and a good opportunity to get that first home win. Starting to feel the momentum is with us at the moment.

well, wee got to half time at 0-0, apparently the record for not conceeding a goal at the start of a season now, if only we could score!
Cov keeper should have been off, ref bottled it!

amazing, we've doubled the amount of goals scored all season in 1 game tonight!
2 goals scored and 0 conceeded in 7 games, never known anything like this

End-to-end, frustrating game for both Stoke and Swansea. 30 shots between us but a mix of the ball not quite dropping, players making the wrong choices in the final third, poor finishing, last gasp defending etc.

Still, we'll take an injury time equaliser.

Edit - I'd not seen Oli Cooper before tonight but thought he was excellent for Swansea.

Jack Clarke absolutely on another level tonight.

Important win for us tonight against a team that comprehensively outplayed us over 180 minutes last season

Was impressed by Blackburn for 70/75 mins very positive in going forward & in Wharton & Vale ( I think he was called ) a couple of good young un's to call upon .

Don't think it's either set of fans main derby but thought the atmosphere came across as flat on Sky .

Looking forward to Smoggies v Mackems next Monday I think it is .

VAR might have given a couple of penalties..?

    One to each team .

    Blackburn dominated though .

We were f*cking brilliant tonight, and really upped our game in the second half especially. Jack Clarke was absolutely outstanding.

Chuffed to bits to see Mowbray get off to a comprehensive win to start his reign. That’ll really bode well for Boro away Monday night.

We need to hide Semenyo for 24 more hours.

Clean sheet, 3 points, that’ll do though.

Mixed performance tonight, but really enjoyable.

I was screaming at Semenyo to pass it and then he smashed it in. Thought Wells was quality tonight and he seems to be enjoying his football.

We pushed our luck in the second half, but think we edged it overall. Next game for me will probably be QPR, but promising signs so far.
