So Luton have appointed a Watford reject as their manager until Jones gets sacked & comes back for a 3rd time , think Edwards will do ok ( if given time ) .

Fair comment though I guess .

Big shoes to fill and he will have to win their fans over there quickly.

Just as well we don’t play them for a while though .

I think most fans are happy with the appointment of a highly rated young manager with a good future ahead of him. It certainly shows the ambition of the owners to continue our progress. Rob Edwards was a victim of Watford revolving door management policy. At Luton he will be given time. Of course any run of defeats will be met with the usual comments from a minority of our support. The majority will stick with him though.

Good timing with the appointment as in he gets 4/5 weeks with majority of the squad to input his footballing vision for the club albeit still reckon NJ will be back at some point , him & Luton are made for each other .

Another one going: Beale to Rangers.

Do clubs even have projects with managers anymore? Strikes me as utterly pointless these days. Either the manager leaves after 4 months or they get sacked due to consecutive poor results/lost the dressing room right away.

Pearson at City I guess. Both him and the club are rebuilding the squad and behind the scenes from the mess left during Mark Ashton and Lee Johnson's time here. It's been slow and very frustrating at times, but I think it's probably for the best they've stuck with him. Some good shoots in there at times too.

If Beale stuck to his word then we would be a project.

3 weeks after giving the big loyalty speech he's off.

Should get a couple mil out of it, which is more than we get for our players.

We are in a good position for a new manager though.

    He's officially gone.

Not gone down well with QPR fans after how thick he laid it on. Plus we gave him the chance, backed him etc.

Our CEO come out and said that our search had already started. Short list is constantly updating for if we need to change. Hope that's not just talk, as him leaving taking so long gives the new manager less time before our first game back.

"Integrity and loyalty are big things for me, and if they are the values you live by you have to be strong. I have been all-in here and I have asked other people to be all-in so I can't be the first person to run away from the ship." - Michael Beale, October 20th 2022.

C*nt. Glad we didn't get the shithouse.

In MF I think although a cheap appointment think we are trying too…..he’s slowly winning fans onside and the players are playing for him.

proof will be in the pudding when we have 6/7 players back after the Int break. Kenny Miller has just come in on a coaching role….

Did great with a squad of no hopers at Blackpool. Solid appointment.

Very logical appointment by QPR, I think he will get them top 6 within the next season or two

He's the one I wanted. Had Blackpool playing good stuff and has good links for youth, so the same as Beale.

Any Blackpool fans with some insight?
