Much, much better. A return of some of Lijnders' book title & look what happens!

Gakpo was encouraging again, neat, tidy, more confident in possession & glad he got the goal. Nunez a nuisance throughout & a fantastic ball for Salah's goal, with an Adrian-at-Villa-esque piece of keeping from the t-rex.

Have to give huge credit to Bajcetic yet again. Kid's come in & probably been our best player in every game so far. To put in that performance in a derby in a role he's never been used in before, brilliant. Got to keep your feet on the ground with a youngster, but he looks like he belongs already.

If they go down I still want an Anfield derby every season somehow.

Did I hear the Liverpool fans singing the name of Divock Origi? Is that to taunt Pickford? It made me chuckle

Firstly, it was a brilliant atmosphere and the Kop were in full voice and Everton fans to be fair played their part in that. I thought Gakpo showed real signs of progress last night ,some of his control with the ball and his movement in tight spaces reminded me of Gini in the way he always found space to pick the pass ,I'm beginning to see the reasons behind why he was procured. Bajcetic is just a truly wondrous young talent ,gifted with both feet and breaks up the play and reads the drop of the ball like a Lucas. Salah looked really up for it and Robertson was back to being the unplayable speedster we're more familiar with. Nunez is just Nunez ,chaotic but beautiful in flight ,love the lad to bitz. Gomez was superb at the back and we watched yet another Henderson resurrection akin and as unexpected as f*cking Lazarus.

3 massive points and a blast of what we've missed this season.

Yes it was immediately after the Pickford/Robbo altercation. Made me laugh too.
