    To be honest there wasn't that much stick for him up until his celebration for the first. Me and plenty around me were saying what a good pacey forward he looked.

    Professional and hardworking performance at Newcastle, that is the worst we've played at home in a long time (we play like that away regularly!). Need to bounce back against Tel Aviv and Bolton now.

    I wonder if we'll ever see Danny Simpson need a towel for every throw-in in future games? That tactic was so funny...

    The only negative of the evening was the referee's inability to not punish any of the late tackles (if you can call them that) of Stoke players' body checking our players when we jumped for the ball. It was blatant thuggery for all to see, and must have left Ryan Taylor and Tim Krul with well bruised ribs.

    Other teams will copy our style now. Stoke might have crashed and burned.
