He turned up when he actually was robbed

I'm guessing you think the whole squad shouldve been there ? Last year we sent about same amount when we were up for Team of the year and Haaland/Rodri were in the favs list, this year was between 2 and our guy was there.

Definitely. As well, the reaction of the club and the players to this only reinforces the idea that they're a team of individuals. They need to get out of that mindset, where individual awards seem to be so important to the club, or Barcelona will end up walking the league.

They feel the whole awards system is against them, but they've won club of the year, Ancelotti won manager of the year and they came 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th and 9th in the voting.

Some perspective on the Ballon d'Or winners since 2000. Which one is your most memorable?

Worst thing about Real Madrid shitting the bed is the winner was a Spaniard, and played a big part in their own country winning the Euros.

Just shows how up their own arses they are.

Nedved over Henry in 2003 is the biggest robbery in football.

It's all in the PR, Like when the euro hipsters start wanking over latest teams to have a good run, past 15 years we've seen it with Klopps Dortmund, Ten Haags Ajax, Monaco 2016, Napoli 2021, Lyon 2019, they'll be another one this year.

Real Madrid's tantrum has been hilarious. If that season output (him only starting just over half their league games) is worthy then Mo Salah could say he's had heists against him 6 years in a row, and a whole host of other players should be fuming...!

Such an entitled, pathetic organisation that state backed nonsense are. They spent the majority of the year doing PR that Bellingham should win it as well, and now they're suggesting Carvajal ahead of him :laugh::laugh:. Knows where his bread's buttered.

If that was the case wouldn't it have been Leverkusen & Wirtz not Rodri everyone is (rightfully) claiming the worthy winner?

Tbf I think Real Madrid's hilarious strop has focused minds elsewhere so probably escaped it this year.

Went that bad they were messaging Rodrigo DePaul saying he's robbed Vinicus, Rodri doesn't have social media.

I didn’t know Haaland hadn’t gone tbh, or what he was doing, but I have no doubt that Real Madrid’s snub is worse.

“Real Madrid doesn’t go where it is not respected”:laugh:

To be fair he went to watch his mate in Sweden play a title deciding match or some shit.

And yeah, of course, the way Real Madrid and the little prick Vinicius is far worse, I was just fishing for bites of @njmcfc1894 ;)

Can't stand self entitled pricks like that demanding theyre awarded things, a bit like the way David Beckham gets a cob on every years he's not knighted

Can't say Ive ever seen Salah whining despite the fact he's been one of the best players on the planet for 6/7 years and never get a look in.

2010/11 to 2012/13 is just wild.

    186 goals in 3 seasons.

One hundred and eighty six. Three seasons.

For context, in the Arsenal all time top scorers list, only one player has more than 186 goals

    And in THREE SEASONS.
