Forest Green Rovers v Bristol Rovers is live on BT Sport,a local derby so i'll be watching that. Rovers will be happier now they've got their first win and Forest Green are unbeaten so should be decent.
I think we'll lose tomorrow only reason we haven't lost last two games is due to the opponents lacking the ability to score against us.
Forest Green Rovers v Bristol Rovers was not pretty to watch as it was p*ssing down all through the match.Bristol struggled up front and Forest Green's defence was decent and 1-1 was probably a fair result.
Back from the game and have to say I'm pretty pleased with the performance overall. We were solid defensively (except for a few minutes when they got a lucky goal) and actually played some decent football at times, particularly in the first half. Again, our problem was not being ruthless enough in front of goal - if we were we'd have won the game comfortably. Considering FGR are third in the league and we went to their place and feel disappointed not to have won the game, I don't think we have much to fear in this division. The top sides can look as vulnerable as those at the bottom if you put them under pressure and now our lads are getting more and more confident I think we'll cause every side problems. Defensively we need to defend for a full 90 minutes instead of defending well for most of it before conceding a silly goal. There's plenty to work on but a draw away from home isn't a disastrous result.
Not a bad draw at home vs Aldershot, Think we need to make Plainmoor a real fortress as picking up points on the road is going to be a struggle.
