Ha yes maybe but think others did comment on that too but maybe more in the Championship.

Not sure you play like that either now though or no worse than anyone else .

I mean all teams take part in a bit of gamesmanship when winning .

I was watching on TV (would be weird for me to be at a game between two teams I don't support the other end of the country now, wouldn't it) The Bournemouth players were buying those free kicks off the slightest contact, contact which in most cases a player could easily have carried on from and played advantage. Oliver's whistle happy bollocks just rewarding the constant simulation. He needs to go, if every match was like this one no-one would watch football. Neither side deserves to be in Europe next season though, Bournemouth for falling over at little fingers being placed on their shoulder, Fulham for missing that many chances.

Oh dear we’re upsetting people again ;)

Shame we can’t do the Newcastle away performances every week, seemed like a reset sort of match, dig in and get the three points.

Going to Palace on Saturday to watch football through a letterbox, so we’ll need to improve big style if we want to get anything from the game.

That was a rough watch second half, but you can't doubt the squad commitment - they left it all out there and just about clung on. Was impressed by Fulham, especially the quality and experience they could bring off the bench - on another day they would have got the break and picked up a draw.

We couldn't really bring anyone on in the midfield engine room second half so just fell further and further back - was shocked at how little we created second half considering Fulham were leaving more and more space at the back.

The Newcastle Chap is aware of the existence of Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton, and their antics in our thumping of them at SJP? Unfortunately we don't/can't play like that every week!

It was a stop / start fussy or at best inconsistent referee, he could have let more go. I think you can say that every week though.

Agree on Fulham's squad depth, a much better bench. Had they equalised I think they'd have won.

Palace will be licking their lips at how knackered we were second half. I know they play midweek so we have to hope they'll be equally spent. Saturday's game might be a proper slugfest.

I'd love to see a game where players don't slow down, wait for opponents to bump into them and then go down easily to buy a foul. All teams do it, unfortunately.

Part of me hopes they'll be too focused on their cup semi-final, but if they get a result tomorrow they'll still have a chance of sneaking 8th.

Strange fixture, usually I'd be delighted with a point at Palace but feel we might have to win it to keep the European dream alive considering our remaining games... :hmmm

At the least its meeting up with some mates for a beer! It's just the view and getting away from the place that's the issue ;)

Think there's a fair chance you'll get a result. All our focus is on the FA Cup (Glasner's surrender at Man City pretty much confirmed that), so even though we still have an outside shot at Europe I can't see us picking up many (if any) points from our next three before Wembley. Newcastle away, you at home and Arsenal away isn't easy at the best of times, and if we were to win at Wembley we'd only be one result away from Europe anyway.
