    16. Although at my last count 18 players who played for us last season have moved on, so a high number of new players were required

York signed lots of players for their ‘development squad’ I think they are all still in the dark room.

They've all gone mostly, absolute scattergun approach last season, much better plan this year

Pools sign CB Billy Sass-Davies, looked alright in pre season, provide some decent competition for places.

Tetek signed - league one player if he can stay fit, worth the gamble in my opinion

Our midfield looking the best it’s looked in years. Maja, Hargreaves, Theo, Frost and Tetek battling it out for two places.

Solihull signing Tunicliffe. Was class with us and been in the football league since. Top 3 I think Solihull now

Good signing for Solihull, we can't compete financially at the moment with them, Barnet or FGR. It would just be no different to what we did that got us in the mess (sort of) 20 years ago.

Tunnicliffe is a solid L2 level centre back, Solihull Motors still chucking money around these days are they?

Presume Tunnicliffe was down the pecking order at Wrexham, as he only play 36 games in the 2 years he was at Wrexham?

Out of our six signings so far, Monthe, Charsley, Caprice have really good pedigree.

Please excuse my ignorance, but has anyone else made signings to have won promotion at L2 level in recent times?

And if Conlon finally clicks, as it looks like he has been doing in preseason, that'll be like another signing of that calibre.

Plus Raglan, plus Norwood, this is why I like our squad more than the majority of my fellow Latics fans, although I understand their hesitations.

    That looks a solid signing.
