I’m from West Northumberland. Carlisle was my local team.

That should help reduce the goals conceded column

Chris Conn-Clarke scored an Ibrahimovic esk overhead kick from 35 yards out in training today.

Could prove to be quite some signing. :party

We've signed goalie Jackson Smith on an emergency loan from Barnsley, as Oliver Whatmuff is on International duty and his deputy Tom Myles has picked up an injury.

Meh, he won't get much of the ball next week as you'll probably be shitting yourselves about how you're somehow gonna stop the best striker in the league, Kairo Mitchell, at the other end.

By 35 yards out you mean about 8 yards out.

    These fantasies of yours

We've done everything we possibly can now, whether we go up or not is a coin toss as it is for everyone who wants promotion from this division. Not getting the sour grapes in early or anything but with only one automatic promotion place you really can't over think what you need to do to get promotion beyond being in the mix and hoping you get the breaks.

Be nice to see Hughes prove everyone wrong too, every week since he took over he's been written off for a new reason. He's done a lot right so far though so maybe he can finally make a name for himself in the world of football

I don't mind him tinkering with the attacking shape because between Linney, Armstrong, Kelly, Conn-Clarke, Luamba, Ajiboye and *checks notes* Wyke, we have the sort of creative players to do that with. But when he's messed with the centre of midfield and defence things have gone wrong and to make matters worst he did it against two of the best teams in this division. He's learnt other lessons in his time here though so hopefully this is one too.

I’m a little bit worried that Wearne will end up shoe horned back onto the right to accommodate CCC in the 10 role.

Im hoping Hughes has learned the error of his ways after Sutton and York and it will either be Luamba or Ajiboye on the right (or Embleton when he returns). If he prefers CCC as a 10, drop Wearne, don’t disrupt the whole balance of the team to keep him in the 11.

Yeah and it's definitely a bit of a risk if Darragh gets what he wants and following a brief eye catching loan spell CCC is signed by whoever needs an attacking midfielder most at the top of L2 for almost what he paid Alty and we have to reintegrate a dissatisfied Wearne. That said one of Hughes' biggest strong points has been keeping players happy and raring to go when they're in and out of the team.

Ball is in our court though. We have a buy option in the loan deal already agreed.

Macaulay Bonne has signed for money bags Maldon and Tiptree in the Isthmian League. Now if only they'd take Hopper from us....

We've signed the superbly named Ashley Boatswain on loan from Ipswich. A striker who scored with his first touch yesterday

That’s his quota for the season used up, scored 1 in 18 for Flyde and that was against a managerless Wealdstone.

We've agreed a deal in principle to sign winger Sean Etaluku from Macc. Surprised we've announced it before completing the medical.

George Nurse signs on loan for a month. Pointless signing.

The natives are very restless already. Some want the owners out.

2 hour build up after a teasing scarf photo to announce a 1 month loan signing is an interesting way to do social media

I thought Yeovil's new owners were meant to be wealthy and would immediately be throwing money around.
