What would excite you then outside of Bolton or Birmingham? Salford!? With your crosses you've just basically covered what the draw is for most clubs anyway.
Doesnt have to be exciting to be a good draw. Blackpool Wigan Stockport Barnsley Bolton Take 2000+ to each of these Birmingham Charlton Reading Never been too and need to tick them off the 92 Gainsborough Brackley Harborough Small clubs im never likely to go too Morecombe Out of form and winnable + a few ex latics there. Swindon - personal banter with friends who live that way Thats off the top of my head but you get my point. You pull me up for saying leyton orient is meh and then basically call the whole draw unexciting until you get to round 3 when the prem comes in. Why dont yoh just go watch the prem then?
Well it would help if we actually qualified for the first round but tbh I don't miss it As for 'pulling you up' all I did was say the draw is usually forgettable. At least it always is for us, we never get decent draws and when we do get to Round 3 we get something really wank. Calm down and enjoy Orient anyway, I'm sure they're buzzing about it as well.
You’re telling me you wouldn’t have been interested in reviving our few years where we seemed to get drawn against each other all the time ?!
There are so many ex-non league teams now that the early rounds don't quite hold the excitement. Chesterfield, Stockport, Leyton Orient, etc. I'd be heartbroken to get drawn against Bromley
My guess of next round tv picks. November 30th: Kettering v Doncaster Reading v Harborough Wrexham v Barnsley (League 1)
11:30am kick-off!? That's a rotten KO time. Edit: Brought forward an hour because of possible ET and penalties infringing on the 3pm blackout. Great job yet again from the 'Top 6' and their whining of too many games.
They must really not rate Harborough's chances with a couple of those picks. I see Harborough signed former Spurs midfielder Sandro this week
I just looked at round 3 weekend fixtures to see if any impact on Southend and noticed the reverse of this weekend is taking place, at least for Halifax and Southend. Is that the same for all? So teams due to play Daggers and Tamworth yesterday lose another weekend due to having the same opponent in R2 and R3 weekends? Seems daft.
Great result for daggers! Hoping you get a decent draw in the 3rd round, either winnable tie, or real cash rich away tie. Buys Strevens some time?
Congratulations to the Daggers. Well done to the step 7 teams today on a great effort in their games.
Millwall vs Dagenham, woof And I'm absolutely delighted for Tamworth getting Tottenham at home, the kind of dream draw they deserve for their great run so far, after a dream couple of years! If we'd held on, we would've got Derby at home, which would have been nice enough, but breathing a sigh of relief that it wasn't a good Prem side we missed out on
choice between derby or 1 less fixture id deffo choose 1 less fixture this season. When you look at the bigger picture you have to take a lot of positives out of this weekend, even with the 2 sucker punches.
Terrible draw for us, no TV, shit crowd and lotsof West Ham plebs probably hijacking a decent day out for us. Booo.
Cracking draw for Tamworth, what a day that’ll be. Shame there’s no opportunity for a replay. Bit gutted for Daggers tbh, rough draw. Only consolation is it’s fairly local and you haven’t got to go somewhere like Preston or Middlesbrough
