Already been discussed in the last couple of weeks. MK Dons fans flagged as highly unreliable witnesses on any signings due to the fact that every single player in the EFL has made 6 to 12 disappointing appearances for them.
Very unexpected signing out the blue… Chuks Aneke. A player I’ve always rated and wished we’d buy one day. Very good signing for this level on paper.
Speaking of free agents I'm surprised Conor Wickham or James Wilson haven't turned up somewhere in this division yet.
Yeah nobody on our forum knew about him being at the game until it was mentioned in the statement the club released. Think the chairman has panicked a bit with not only our start to the season, but also the unrest amongst the fanbase which has caused protests. The signings of Ihiovien and now Aneke should help us push up the table.
Not a transfer but Ryan Colclough has signed for Fylde. Sure someone on here predicted he’d rock up there. Should be playing way above that level. What a waste of talent.
Unfortunately for him he’s my age - running out of time in his career and likely won’t play in the EFL again. Sublime player on his day, someone we could do with - but can’t behave when he’s pissed. I genuinely do wish him the best.
We could definitely do with his creativity atm but club did right thing getting rid. Too many chances. But I agree I do wish him well & hope he can sort himself out.
Yeah I said that. Seemed a good fit, all things considered. I put it in the NL forum signings thread. I also wish we still had him for his ability, but he's such a mong when he's pissed he left the club no choice really.
Donacien likely to sign. Personally I wouldn’t touch him. Got the class but can’t stay fit. Wish we’d move away from signing old crocks who might get a few games.
Is this down to events off the pitch, or managers maybe finding him a handful to deal with? Attitude with some players rather than ability often leads to them taking what they can find.
