After making good £ flogging 21 yr old Ronnie Edwards & 22yr old Harrison Burrows the club decided to go young again & it's backfired massively , I've been watching Posh 50+ years & I can't remember a worse collective defense than this season's , we've had worse individuals but , things can only get better or else , League 2 it is !
Panic signing Jack Sparkes gone out on loan to Chesterfield until end of season but will still have 2 years left on his contract after that . Good luck to him , had Kwame Poku in his pocket when Pompey came to London Road in their promotion season , been disappointing at Posh & if everyone is fit would probably be 4th choice left back on what he's shown , or maybe , it's the ex Exeter thing .
We have signed 21 year old midfielder Alex Lowry from Scottish Premiership side Rangers,not sure what to think on this apparently he comes with plenty of baggage and has an attitude problem from what i read about him.
We have signed 24 year old winger James Berry from Chesterfield,he has scored 10 goals in 28 games this season and has been in a promoted team 3 seasons on the trot twice with Macclesfield and last season with Chesterfield and long may that run continue.
The Millers first signing of the Jan window is Louie Sibley from Oxford. This one was completely out of the blue, no-one seemed to know about this one. Seems he is out of the team at Oxford so it works well for all parties. Surprised he is still only 23 yrs old, hopefully he can add some energy into the team against his home town club Burton tomorrow as McWilliams is out with a hamstring injury.
Caleb Taylor has rejoined us again for the rest of the season from West Brom,he was outstanding as a centre back for us until he got recalled where he spent 4 games on the bench and never got on the pitch which was a waste of a bloody good right sided central defender.
Played in cup game and looked bit poor despite scoring the goal. Hopefully he continues to impress at league 1 and comes back to us in the summer.
Millers OS have just announced the loan signing of Dan Gore from Manchester United for the rest of the season. Supposedly an aggressive creative midfielder. He looks a real good prospect, just hoping he can cope with some of the seasoned cloggers in this league.

Or at 35 years old and not having played too much might not be up to the rigours of Sat, Tues and finds he is injured a lot. That's what we're experiencing with Clark Harris who's only 30, he's only featured in 18 matches for us and he was supposed to get us 25 goals this season, he's got 6 half of them penalties. It may work out better for Rodriguez but it's certainly a gamble given the huge wages he will demand, and it'll be interesting to see how that goes down with the rest of the squad.
Don't think he will mate, he is getting on a bit now and may struggle physically with the amount of games played midweek and then weekend etc, has previously struggled with injury before and i can see it happening again. Hence Burnley took there money and ran.
We have signed 32 year old free agent Adam Reach who is a left side player who can play in midfield or defence,he has played over 400 times in The Championship with West Brom and Sheffield Wednesday.
Stockport have taken Brad Hills from us on loan. Looked impressive for us over the summer and in the cameos he's made so far. I think he should do well at this level.
Hope so , get the more wealthy clubs out of this Division will be good , but then , there's a chance that Derby & parachute payments Luton could be back here next season , not that it'll be Posh's problem the way we're going , transfer deadline day & you're in a relegation scrap & they go & sign an 18 year old from Chippenham

We've signed Tyler Bindon from Reading and loaned him back for the season. I have no idea if he's any good or not but I'm guessing he's one for the u23s?
