You know it makes sense: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGYXVNVZ4Bg&feature=player_embedded#at=44 All donations going to the Erskine Appeal.
Any efforts to raise funds for ex servicemen is to be commended, but to then mention the scum that are the UDA(jokingly or not) in the same sentence as if there is any connection is just pitiful. It's clowns like you that Rangers desperately need to weed from their support.
Nah it's clowns like the majority of Celtic fans on here who actually believed it was a loyalist song connected to the UDA so that they could take offence that need put in their place. Penny Arcade just highlights the type of people that RFC find themselves up against. I've edited my post though to save you from greeting.
What, well balanced tolerant individuals who will stand up against bigots? I don't think UEFA were left with much choice TBH, although they should be doing the same across Europe.
You really don't get it. . . . .not one person is taking offence to your failed wee campaign. In fact i downloaded it and hope it gets to number one to highlight how stupid and desperate you are to try and offend regardless of the fact that nobody gives a toss
Lloyds bank are out to get them, HMRC is out to get them, FARE are out to get them, UEFA are out to get them, Celtic are out to get them, Graham Speirs is out to get them. . . . . And they call US paranoid . . . . .They really don't get it.
Remember they like to tell us how offended we are when we really don't give a toss about what they do, we are only there to laugh when they embarrass themselves again.
Sadly this bit is so true its worrying. I've listened to a couple of phone ins recently and many of them honestly dont compute. The majority of the calls I heard could not accept that they are in the wrong and the ones who did go some way to admitting it, did through so gritted teeth. It has to be said though that one or two, one in particular was very good and held her hands up. Its also refreshing to see some of the posters on here who realise that these people could seriously damage their club if they dont sort themselves out.
I'm sure you did download it. I really do, honest. I'm not trying to offend anybody at all, don't know what has gave you that idea. You and other Celtic fans fell into a trap of taking the bait when it was put forward that Penny Arcade was a loyalist song in this thread. http://www.footballforums.net/forum...e-old-songs-but-no-one-will-tackle-the-bigots which highlights how easily you can twist the songs we sing. I gave a tongue in cheek comment in my first post and Bundy spat the dummy out.
I fell into the trap? Aye right m8. . . . .The fact is that nobody is bothered either way about Penny Arcade. Whatever the reason you sing it is it's been a complete failure as nobody has given it a second thought and yous have made yourselfs look extremely silly We'll stick to backing our team. By the way Bundy's not a Celtic fan
- Every Rangers fan I have seen on this forum are blaming Murray and if you actually looked at my post history, you would see that a few Rangers fans including myself have slated the RST for potraying Donald Muir as the main problem. - again, see my first point. Rangers fans are well aware that there is a tax case on-going and would actually rather it was sorted the sooner the better so that we know what the future holds. You would be hard-pressed to find a post on here that is slating HMRC but instead the blame is getting put at Murray's door. - All the Rangers fans I have spoken to wether it be on here, on the supporters bus or in the local pub all agree that certain songs need to be weeded out but at the same time do feel a bit aggrieved that UEFA have decided to take action despite their delegate not having issues and that it was something brought up by a representative of FARE who is married to a "staunch Celtic fan" and also in the same week where Adebayor was subjected to racist singing against him but nothing is said.
Believe it or not we don't sing it for your benefit. Getting it played over the tannoy at Ibrox before every home game, all of the support now singing it and the single now about to hit the charts due to Rangers fans groups who have helped with the Erskine appeal clearly show that it has been anything but a failure. By the way I knew Bundy wasn't a Celtic fan, don't recall saying he was.
As i've said it doesn't matter if it's the Pope that reported you, the fact of the matter is your support continues to sing sectarian songs. Spurs have been in the spotlight once for this, Rangers have had many warnings and have also been done in the past for it. There is a big difference.
Who's benefit do you sing it for then because it has no connection to Rangers or does it? On top of that it's a woeful song. What was the point of coming on and telling lies about the song then? It didn't work anyway because no Celtic fan gave a hoot.
Of course who brings it up is relevant. UEFA send a delgate to report on these findings and nothing was reported at all. For the record, I don't recall any sectarian songs being sang at the home game v PSV as the game was dire and the atmosphere even worse which is the game that FARE are referring to. I do take your point that there is songs that are deemed sectarian and need to be scrapped from the song book. Two questions remain unanswered though. What other clubs have been fined for their singing recently and what other clubs in europe find themselves being scrutinised by oustide parties in their own country?
It's a song that has been on the jukebox of pubs/clubs/Rangers bars for years and is sang for a laugh. Where's the harm in that? It's that woeful a song that you downloaded it from iTunes.....allegedly.
It's not relevant. It's very simple, you have had many warnings and you have also been done for it yet there WAS sectarian singing in both legs. There was also sectarian singing in previous legs. Skorn posted the songs that were sang in the home game and that confirmed there was sectarian singing. Stephen Smith from the RST admitted on SSN that there was sectarian singing at the home leg, we all heard it very clearly. There ARE other clubs being done with it and a google search will show you that. I dont know if there are many other clubs who sing sectarian songs in every European game.
Never said there was any harm. You really are trying to get people to be offended and it's not happening. It's yet another so called Rangers song that doesn't mention Rangers . .. . It truely is a woeful song though.
Again, that woeful that you got it off iTunes yeah? Again what part of my post have I tried to get you offended?
Genuinely not heard Stephen Smith's comments. Have you got any direct quotes from him that say there was sectarian chanting? While you're at it as well, perhaps you could post a couple of links up from UEFA or through google of teams being punished for their singing recently.
