If they win by 2 won't they go back to the top? Suppose it depends how long it takes for us to get round to playing P'boro
Not looking forward to playing Bristol City next week but we're in good form and due to make a couple of big signings this week so you never know.
I didnt prase it very well. My point is that on games played we are the better team at the half way stage. They were talking as if there were worthy leaders when they were only there due to playing more games.
Well we were, it's a good job you had your good start as you was pissing it at one stage, what was it, a ten point lead at one point? You are a massive 3 points clear of us at the half point in the season. Wow.
Three points is three points. We have had our bad run and i am sure we will have another. All things being equal, at the half way point we were on 48 points. If we mirror the second half of the season we will finish on 96 points. That would be a huge return. You lot are also on a huge amount of points anbd are doing well. I am not trying to get into a cock fight.
You are having a laugh. We have one of the smallest squads and made more than we spent in the summer.
TBF thats a fair point, We only have a squad of 21. And I know its fashionable to say we've spent alot, but in reality we havent really. Or wage bill is down on last season and all transfers in the summer were pretty much written off by Baldocks fee.
Wouldnt have thought so. Preston for one must certainly have a bigger wage bill than us. But yeah, we do have a bigger budget than most. Used it well though. Just saying we're down on last years budget having got the rest of the shambolic Championship shite off the wage bill.
Swindon fans sulking about a club with larger crowds spending more on wages. Honestly, you lot will come out with any old crap to take the pressure off yourselves.
Yeah cheers, your wage bill must be about 6/7 times higher but you haven't a ground to fit your 50/60,000 a week have you now.
I fully expected you to be top with your squad but I'm starting to have doubts about whether you can last the pace if you continue to lose key players. Smith for one will be hard to replace.
'Look how amazing we are with our small budget, just how great are we? Keeping up pace with the giants that are Bristol City with their massive £0 net spend summer spending spree.' I said it on the other TFF site, our rivals are more obsessed with our budget than we are. Get over it.
Yes I reckon the millions your owner has spent to bring you L1 football at a great cost is money well spent.. Poor bloke.
