They certainly did you the favour.
Agree and said for a while that I'm surprised Frank doesn't get linked with more elsewhere. Somehow doesn't come across as fashionable for whatever reason. You won't mind!

One for people to figure out:

If Chelsea finish 7th and win the Conference League and Palace win the FA Cup, what happens to that Conference League spot? Does it go down to 8th?

It really is a case of proving time and again that neither team could give a stuff about fans.

A.lot of people in those grounds to see their team getting massively short changed.

Well, I was right about our finishing position!
Still happy with my prediction for the top 5 as well. I think Villa will get above Chelsea but might have been wrong about Citeh getting above the Arse - that accolade could go to Newcastle now

They have Southampton to play still so I think they've done just enough.

It would take something insane for them to drop out of the top 5. Chelsea and Villa, both of whom have been wildly inconsistent this season, would have to win both games for a start. After we lose to West Ham next weekend and the pressure is off us altogether, we will probably revert to our earlier season form and shithouse a 1-0 win over Chelsea on the final day

Arsenal would have to somehow lose to Saints and that isn’t happening.

Villa have Spurs and Manchester United to play with a Europa League final sandwiched in-between. I'd expect them to win both games really.

Arsenal will win on the final day though so they're not going to miss out.

Nope, we lose the conf league spot, and Chelsea and Palace get Europa.

Only way 8th gets Europe is if Palace lose. It’s a conf league spot unless Chelsea are the ones finishing in 7th in which case it’s a Europa spot.

Emotions aside of how shite we've been lately. I get to see my side in Europe next season and I'm genuinely delighted.

Our goal difference compared to those around us (Arsenal +33, Chelsea +19, Aston Villa +7, Forest +12) means just a point from our last two games should see us over the line.
