    I'm not backing him.

I'm merely pointing out that nobody should be shocked as he's always done commercial stuff like open and such even though he's brought in eye watering wages.

    Clearly he likes money

Clearly. But while he was Liverpool manager he could do no wrong even after spending 70m on a keeper and 75m on a centre back after saying he would leave the industry before spending crazy money on footballers. Now that he's not Liverpool (or Dortmund manager) he's nothing but a money grabbing c*nt

    Wasn't 70 on a keeper

Plus if you were given 146mil for a bang average 10 you'd spend it in thr best possible players to close the two clear gaps in your team too :shrug

You're shocked that Liverpool fans weren't criticizing Klopp for signing world class players that won us the CL and PL? . .:confused

Might be time to lay off the tennents.

The best possible available replacement for ten Hag is no longer on the table.

    Good shout.

Allardyce would genuinely do a better job than Ten Hag.

I would have said to give him a shot a while back, but not now. He is a good buddy of SAF, and I think SAF's days are gone now, and he should just melt into the background.

Big Sam would only listen to SAF, and things would go more 'Ape S***e' then.

    Roy?

I think his Liverpool connection would count against him.

The wild part with United is that every United manager post-Sir Alex has had someone on their coaching staff who worked with him, or played for him.

That is just stupid to me. United need to start being less sentimental with their decision making. Or perhaps it was just because the old man has been poking around in the background...

SAF is a legend at Aberdeen here in Scotland. After managing them, he broke the stranglehold of Celtic and Rangers in the old Scottish 1st division, but once he left Aberdeen for United, he just melted away and would go back to Aberdeen now and then for guest purposes.
