I can’t see Beadle coming to be a bench warmer.

Harry Darling’s joining Norwich now. Shame as that would’ve been us if Manning stayed.

Ricardo Santos joining on a free from Bolton. We do need centre-backs in, only one signed on for next season at the moment in Cabango. I'd be happy enough with him coming in as cover, but to be honest not sure he's good enough technically on the ball from what I've seen with him at Bolton if he was coming into directly replacing the likes of Darling.

He will be playing for you next season if that's the valuation.

Certainly Roma won’t pay anything near that. Considering his injury record anything over 10m would be good going, surely?

Roma have just got £20m from us for Le Fée so they have money to spend.

We rejected a 20m offer in January. Also got £10m for Adam Idah, a lump that we didn't want, didn't want to be here and had a worse injury record.

The one thing that type of evaluation for Sargent does is limit where the bids will be coming from. Most Italian, French or German clubs that can spend that type of money aren't going to want Sargent. I could see a Premier League side making him a rotation option but my best guess would be that he'll end up in the MLS. We're going into a home World Cup year for them and he's a player that could be a star out there for the next decade, it's also where the £20m offer came from..

Swans ITK (supposedly) linking us to one of Manning's old favs Harry Darling. Our local press confirming that he's one we're interested in but saying that it isn't far along.

Assume that'll be a Duffy replacement.

Blues were linked to him this season but Rangers appeared to be his preferred destination.

Looked a decent player the season before last.

Every club in Europe wants Sainz, apparently.

Links to Chris Mepham and a return for Oli McBurnie. Meh.

Still unsure of Wilder's future too, but given these links I would suggest he's likely to stay.

Outgoing links are Hamer, Vini Souza, Ahmedhodzic and Arblaster which if true would fetch quite a bit of money in but would be tough to replace. I can Souza and Ahmedhodzic finding clubs in Europe if they're prepared to pay over £10m each. Hamer is linked to Everton and Leeds but would have to be big money. Arblaster being monitored by Brighton but he's recovering from an ACL injury so that would be January at least.

Reading that I feel as if I might have gone too early on my prediction that Sheffield United will walk it next season.

There is a wild rumour we might be signing an ex Prem player who currently plays in La Liga as an AMC on a free with a likelihood rating of 8/10 - source is our Fearless in Devotion podcast team

the only ones that meet the criteria are:

    Suso
    Denis Suarez
    Oriol Romeu
    Jose Campana

Wolves are “monitoring” Ivanovic. I never know exactly what that means, but usually it’s either he’s a tertiary target or they’re going to see how he gets on next season before making a bid.

In other news, Tanganga has a £1.5m release clause if a premier league club comes in for him. I would imagine at least a couple of the promoted clubs will be interested. Sad, but that clause was probably the only reason we were able to sign him permanently in the first place.

Thought you would sign Paal. He has left us and was going to join you last year.

Thiery Small from Charlton has been linked.

Alfie Gilchrist has also been linked. Funny fact ... his mum was my GF in year 5 for a week.

Another fun fact, Thiery Small went to school with my son, he played for three different year groups and was the best player in all three, insanely good. I watched one of their games, think they were 13-0 up at half time, he’d scored all 13, he left at half time to go and train with his normal team!!
