Best team for 80 minutes and hit by two sucker punches :(

All focus on the league, see you all next season for a magical weekend away in Worthing with loads of packet xx

Highlights show how weak the ref was. Would have liked to see the norwood incident

Cheers SoC. The support from us I thought was incredible again yesterday, that low roof at Blundell Park really does help.

Great day and when The Hall rocks, it rocks! Emphasises why COSU wanted to stay here and why they want to revitalise and modernise the place.

I think Pip meant to say tey won it in 1947, not 1974!!!!!!!! lol.

great to see the North Bank full.

    Sutton 0 Birmingham 1

It was always going to be a mountain to climb to get through for Sutton, and whilst we gave a good showing of ourselves, ultimately it wasn’t enough as Birmingham deservedly won the tie.

I just feel that Sutton played too cautious a game there. It’s all very well looking to stay in contention for 80 minutes and then look to push forward in the final few minutes but it’s not easy to enact and Sutton just couldn’t get hold of the ball. A more proactive approach earlier might have unsettled Brum.
I know that if we’d drawn Birmingham, Brennan would not have set up us like that!

The cautious approach was the right one IMO, considering our defensive weakness this season and Birmingham’s attacking options.

We made attacking substitutions throughout the 2nd half, I felt that the Birmingham defence had our number.

Nadesan almost certainly should have scored on 86 minutes.

Yeah, that was the chance for Sutton.
Harris’s one in the 1st half was a decent opportunity too.

Brennan has one way of setting up, and couldn’t tactically out smart Baldrick.

As far as Tranmere went yesterday, they have some good players, but just didn't seem as desperate to win as we did. Don't think they'll end up coming down again, but it could be one of those situations where they sleepwalk into relegation if the lower teams up their levels as the season goes on.

Yeah there’s no chance that Tranmere side goes down, they will be bottom half I expect but much worse teams in the league than them, we played them a few weeks ago and if they could finish they’d have taken something from the game.

That gives me a bit confidence about where we're at right now

Tbh i thought tranmere looked relatively decent considering they say top nl and bottom lg2 are basically the same. They looked bottom heavy in so much as you can see they have a decent defence and midfield but absolutely nothing up top which is strange as i thought jennings was highly rated?

Im much more confident about our chances of top 2 after yesterday but next sat is the big one for seeing where we are at
