You may have noticed what this thread is going to be about from the title. And yes, I went to the Wembley Stadium Community Day as I reside in Brent. Everyone living in Brent received a free ticket to go to the stadium and view it's facilities. Absolutely amazing they were... the turnstiles like I've never seen before, the pitch, security. Oh, and not forgetting the stadium itself! If you went down to your local takeaway to buy a burger/hot dog, how much do you think it would cost? Eight pounds it was at the stadium! But well worth it because it came in a container that said 'Wembley Stadium' on it... Anyways, so the local teams matches started - I was supporting Soccer AM throughout. Eventually, Mark Bright scored the first unofficial goal at the most spectacular footballing stadium in the world. Great play from all teams, and all the teams finished playing. Next came the training of some of Brent's youth Footballers. Bit off-topic that was though, seeing a couple of schoolkids kicking the ball around, but still - if I was at the stadium, nothing would count as 'boring' for me. Local teams matches restarted again... they played etc etc. I nearly got to touch the match ball as it got booted at someone in the crowd a couple of spaces away from me. After that, the certificates were being given out to the people who took part/played at the stadium. Before it finished we were straight out of the exit as you know post-match rushes. 60,000 people attended. For more detailed information, please don't hesitate to PM me or email me at chemical_abz@hotmail.co.uk
I am a new member and waste so much type giving my life story of last Saturday and this is how you repay me? Is it because of the font?
