I wouldn't rule out Brighton if they get the appointment wrong
Surprised they still haven't appointed anybody yet.
Waiting on Brendan!
I'm hopeful that it's just a case of not needing to rush into anything as our match for this weekend had already been cancelled, meaning that (if the queen hadn't died) Bournemouth last weekend would have been the only match before October.
Even so, I have been assuming that the club would want to get the new manager in before any players head off on international duty, so I will start feeling a bit concerned if we don't announce one early next week.
Yeah you don't have to rush given the circumstances but also the club seemed to put info out about being prepared for the eventuality Potter would leave and still waiting for the plan to come to fruition.
Given the fact Chelsea gutted your backroom staff, surely even though you aren't playing these are missed training opportunities the past 10 days or so.
Not really got much confidence in the idea Lallana is helping to run it!
There's probably some truth to there already being a list of replacement candidates (I'd imagine that's standard practice at all clubs), but given the timing and speed at which it happened I struggle to believe that the club wasn't blindsided by the move
Coming out and admitting that wouldn't really be the best look though
Still bizarrely not gone. Rodgers is staying, isn’t he? We’re giving ourselves more and more to do to survive
De Zerbi confirmed
Bucked their ideas up.
It is mental that he hasn't been sacked lost the dressing room and fanbase things aren't going to get much better.
We've already looked like tits against a team with a new manager bounce. Definitely don't want that again. He deserves just one more game.
Be our luck to lose against a Rodgers led Leicester anyway
I'm surprised that Rogers has lasted, I was fully expecting to see the news that he has been sacked after this weekend.
Ok our defence our bad enough they'll probably beat us 4-3 I admit it!
Personally think Leicester will be okay. They've not played well but their fixtures have been pretty tough to date. I'd expect to see them pick up a couple of wins in their next few.
Not sure I buy that. They played a United side that was still trying to find its feet at home. They played Chelsea who are in sketchy form and played with 10 men for over the majority of the game.
Arsenal and Spurs are the only two I don't think they could be too aggrieved to not take anything from but then they also conceded 10 goals over the two games.
Other than that to have not picked up a single win from those fixtures is poor.
We'll drop unless Lage is binned ASAP. He's a complete charlatan, the only thing he's capable of is throwing his own players under the bus.
Collins is suspended for three games and our back up options were both publically called not good enough by him before the window closed. He then proceeds to play Neves at CB just to double down on it. Top work.
Raul has gone AWOl, he's fallen out with Jonny and Moutinho and numerous players make no mention of him at all when asked about the coaching team.
He's like 15 year old me playing football manager. Pick the team and then hope for the best. If anything happens, forget any form of response.
Tactically inept, no idea how to change a game and a quite staggering record of no goals in the second half of our last nine games. All of this with the best group of players we've had in a generation.
My reasoning for Rodgers not being sacked yet is if the club have accepted they will be in the slog of a relegation battle this season, their fate won't be determined by a defeat away to Spurs.
Next two games? Forest and Bournemouth. I guess those games will decide his fate.
Gary Lineker was quite confident Leicester wouldn’t go down on MOTD.
Will he have to wear underpants if they do ?
