Really sounds like the anoraks chairman has lost the plot. Previous manager kept them up when they seemed destined to go down, only to be replaced by a player that was possibly the worst I have seen at Millwall. I remember laughing at him when he came on.

Can we force him out when he loses a single game?

This is too good for words.

'Two' Bob Peeters. His last game for us was the most I've ever laughed at football, as he generously soaked up our sarcastic cheering. Now he's going to be Charlton's boss. You couldn't write it.

I don't even know who he is...

We were all worried when Riga took charge but to be fair he turned out alright. At least give this Peeters a chance.

We should be going for a decent manager with experience in the English league instead of Roland giving his mates a job.

What happened to the old manager? Haven't heard anything about him getting sacked.

I know it is frustrating. I think most fans are very disappointed in the decision. I was hoping we would keep Riga.

However, I don't think we should say too much about our new manager yet. If you bring up the thread when Riga became our manager we were all saying things like "Roland's puppet" but to be fair he turned out good and saved us from relegation. We will never know if Powell would have kept us up or not but if you look at it from Roland's point of view, it was a fantastic appointment. We were bottom of the league at the time and I personally wasn't convinced he would have kept us up. I still admittedly wouldn't have sacked him even if we were relegated but that's neither here of there.

Also, Riga barely played any of the players we had on-loan apart from the tall midfielder (Who was actually quite good). This at least seems to me that Roland isn't interfering as much as what we may have originally thought.

His contract was only til the end of the season.

Had talks with the owner and like Powell could not agree on taking the club forward.

Riga turned out better than I expected but I would say the reason he did not act as Roland's puppet is ultimately the reason he is now out the job. The fact Riga was putting his faith in the likes of Harriott instead of Roland's signings is why he no longer is with us.

Let's face it, Riga has been linked with Blackpool. We all know what Blackpool fans think of their owner and if he would rather work for him instead of Roland then....
