We were paying that some places last time we were up there. TBH our prices were daft for away fans too. But we had an absolute con man of an owner then! I’d hope when we go back up we are at the reasonable end , especially with the ownership we have, who are trying to make it affordable for everyone.
109 FGR at Bolton too… Fair play to those who did make the effort mind! I’ve done Ipswich on a midweek, it’s a killer.
Sold out Vale away, as we should as its only around 40 mile trip, but what a atmosphere, its not about numbers it's also about the atmosphere that Derby bring to each stadium at the mo, loving having my Derby back.
I think it was announced as 102, which beats Fleetwood. Although it doesn’t look that many. Perhaps loads left at half-time? The team were awful though, worst so far by a distance.
Genuinely not surprised, I always look at the stats from your games and you seem to be the most dominant side in the league, against Morecambe who whenever they play the top sides the stats make it look like a L2 vs PL side. This league's going a bit like the Championship I think, gap between top and bottom is gradually getting bigger.
Yes maybe, there’s certainly a big gap between the top two or three every year and the bottom two or three. But there’s also a big chasing pack inbetween who are much of a muchness. It’s obviously hard for the likes of Morecambe to compete with clubs like Sunderland, but there are ways of going about it. Lincoln, Cambridge, Cheltenham off the top of my head have all turned us over and many others have got something from the game by being disciplined, tactically astute and sh*thousing where necessary. We don’t deal with it well and there’s every chance of picking up points. Morecambe didn’t do any of this, they turn up and half-heartedly knock it about, wide open, it’s suicide. I just don’t get it.
I've seen the stats from your last two games against Lincoln, I'd genuinely expect them to have more of the game against Man City and they somehow got 2 results
Yeah us all over unfortunately. Hopefully the signings of Hirst and Broadhead will help us put teams to bed.
Not anytime soon hopefully. I think he’s still got a lot to learn. He’s certainly got all the tools available to him, the question will be if he can get us over the line and out of this league. If he can get us well established or better in the Championship then I suspect he’ll be looking at a job in the top division. But yeah, him, the owners, the people running the club day to day, it’s a world away from where it was a couple of years ago.
Looks like u could be going to Wembley, good luck, nice to see your on the up after all the shit u suffered in the past, a good old football club is Bolton.
Plymouth bringing 3.2k up next weekend and requesting more, great support. Unfortunately after the reported "crush/overcrowding" when Newcastle had 4.5k tickets, it's highly unlikely they'll receive anymore (or anyone else, until the investigation is complete) Incredible in a stand that still holds around 6k (was 7.5k until the corner got condemned and seats removed.) Could/should be over 30k attendance. Edit - I was wrong, seems they've been given an extra 500 tickets.
A great following that is, but a massive game for them top of the division v second place, both teams doing the business at the mo, both looking odds on for auto's, but with 19 games left, plenty of points to play for, and anything can happen, i fancy a 1-1 draw.
1511 Wanderers at Charlton this morning, not bad for a 530 start, we’ve also had two 3k plus turnouts and sold out Accrington out of the same pay month, so all in all not bad
8,919 at London Road including 1,561 Bell Ringers , Drummers & even a Horn section , good loud support & with humour thrown in .
