We are 50/50 split in our fan base whether we need a back up striker. Bickerstaff and Dalby have done well when they come in, but maybe someone with a bit of experience like Lavery could be a good option for us Comparing to our main 2 strikers is he more Mullin or Palmer in style of play?
He's going to Doncaster, pretty much confirmed He's more like Mullin but nowhere near as good of a goalscorer, he's just a busy striker who puts himself about and works hard.
Snorkel is probably more beneficial on our pitch or a spade. Your keeper can build some sand castles in the penalty area whilst we are busy trying not to score
Jodi Jones it looks like. Ridiculous player when he’s fit, but always an issue for him. Worth a go, upside is massive.
Remember him absolutely destroying us for Coventry on the opening day of the season a few years ago when he was about 19, as good an individual performance as I’ve seen against Notts.

It’s the kind of outside of the box thinking that’s our only chance of competing with you on signings really. It’s pretty risk free - not tied down to a long-term deal and with a bit of luck with injuries we’ve got a League One or higher level player for a few months. His ACL goes again and we’ve not lost much. One good thing is it looks like he’s been fit all season, but fallen out with Karl Robinson.
Don’t think it’s an either or, looking at them for different things. Sbarra would be our medium term Rodrigues replacement who we’d give the classic three year-deal and is the right age for anyone we’ll spend a fee on. Jones is our classic opportunity signing, the other sort we make. Some work and some don’t, but they’re generally low risk and short deals.
Yeah, think we'll struggle to make the playoffs now. If Barrow are keen on Sbarra though I could certainly see why he'd rather go there than come to Notts. And as Jacob says it'd be less of a signing about this season anyway, and we might just address it in the summer when Ruben leaves instead.
Jones came through our now defunct youth system during our last couple of year in the league. He was an unreal talent but made of glass after tracking his career after us. He is a championship level quality player if fully fit, you would only need half a game out of him and he would destroy anyone at this level. Wrexham could have big problems if he stays fit, better quality than any Wrexham signing the last two years.
