Mercedes are a ****ing disaster
The race director is a ****ing idiot too
Feel sorry for Bottas
Race director! Wtf.
Mercedes has had a complete brain fart here
Mazepin hasn't crashed yet...
Race director at Monaco = job for "one of the boys"
It's just so laughably bad, this race is devoid off action at the best of times but they're then going to cut away from possibly the only side by side action we'll get all race?
I've never seen a wheel that wouldn't come off before.
Race director is Fernando Alonso. He's done **** all this race and that explains why. Plus, if there's one person who'd cut away from Vettel, its good old Alonso.
Not even a crash can save this race now as it'll be over by the time they clear the car and debris
Did we even get a single none first lap on track overtake here today?
You have to laugh at Brundle and Crofty bigging up the track despite how shit it is. Its not racing if there's exactly 0 chance of an overtake happening even if you're significantly faster than the guy in front.
Nice that Norris got on the podium, apart from that it's hard to care about Monaco.
What a shit show that was. Same as every single year really.
I guess that might be why he retired that season. The relationship looked so toxic by the end, I couldn't see how both could carry on.
Definitely Rosberg had the luck but I think whenever it is a close battle, the eventual winner would have had the better luck over the season.
As for this race, it lived up to its usual level of excitement. Awful, I wish the commentators would just say it as it is.
Red Bull got the strategy perfect. Which was needed after the last race. I want Verstappen to win but as long as it stays close, I think that's what everyone wants to see.
Great to see Norris and McLaren on the podium, their livery looked absolutely superb.
I guess the main highlight was before the race.
Ferrari really will be mad they basically threw away a win.
All the talk about making overtaking easier or at least more possible only seems to apply to every other track in the calendar, there's a collective vow of silence about this abortion of a 'race'.
Total farce, all staged in the name of tax avoidance. The only way they could make it worse would be to have it last race of season for double points.
Channel 4 did their best to big it up but it’s not real racing.
Oh thank god, i'm pleased nobody has mentioned how lucky Max and Red Bull were to get a free pole on a shit track where there's no overtaking so therefor effectively getting a free race win.
I know if it was Lewis and Mercedes, it would definitely not be mentioned how lucky it was. No way. Never.
A nothing race as usual around Monaco.
Felt bad for Charles when it was announced he wouldn't be able to race. It turned out great for Max and he was able to keep Bottas behind into turn 1 instead of trying to pass Leclerc. Ferrari really missed a big chance to win here.
Bottas was unlucky with the tyre not coming off. Not saying there is a conspiracy, but it these things always happen to him and not Lewis. And when it is not Bottas, it is Russell
Bes part of the race was Vettel jumping up a few places in the pits, but the director didn't show it....
Thank **** for F1 TV and reddit
