With the clusterfook of being put up for sale this thread hasn't been made. With the sudden instability the day before a game will/how/can the squad put this to the back of their mind and focus on this game? I think we're vulnerable to a beating tonight and it'll further damage our already fragile confidence. really not expecting anything. Afobe has done nothing in games so I'd rest him and start ALF. Unsure on a formation but we'd need to play to ALF' strengths which are entirely different than Afobe's. A Fulham win and Stearman clean sheet will see our Facebook page go into meltdown.
A defeat again tonight could be the catalyst for some sort of Neanderthal chest beating at Molineux on Saturday. Im not confident of any result at the moment, we just aren't connecting the midfield with the strikers and everything seems to be dying a death before Afobe or ALF get any breaks. The defence is bolstered by Danny being back but those surrounding him apart from Iorfa don't fill me with confidence. I just hope tonight we can pull off a shock win and this could be the turn in ower season. I would make a change and bring in Byrne for VLP, apparently he was dogshit Saturday, apart from that keep it as it is. Wallace needs to continue..
don't take anything from our total capitulation Friday, got a sneaking feeling you will get a result tonight
Positives from the last two league games are a much tighter defence and the return of the Price/Macca combo in midfield. Get Benik back on form and the wingers flying and we'll have a chance of beating anyone on our day. Would give my left nut for a 1-0 Afobe tonight.
I don't fear for us particularly. I just think that it'll be a dull as fook game. We're looking more solid at the back but still hopeless going forward. Only a goal in it either way, tempted to stick 0-0 on tbh.
O'Hara having a stinker as well... I know he's shit and everything but was expecting him to suddenly turn into Pirlo tonight.
Im actually chuffed to bits tonight. I was following on Twitter and even before the sending off we were the better side. What a moral boosting result after the news yesterday of Morgan wanting to sell up...
