We're back into the land of full house bonuses for the first time since Week 25 and we have those in a battle to avoid the wooden spoon to thank for that. TLC is at the top of the weekly charts for the first time this season as her own full house helps to keep her a good way from those bottom 2 places but at the same time CFC91, currently bottom, is the second highest scorer of the week as they close that gap on Colinmorriswalksonwater to just 10 points. There is a gap increase at the other end of the table (how about that for a seamless link ) as SalopTillIDie takes advantage of a poor week from me to increase his lead to 17 points whilst Vanni also takes advantage from the other end as they close the gap to me to just 3 points as the title race truly becomes a 3 horse race. StretfordEnd may want to toss an argument for it to be a 4 horse race as he scores well again to remain in touch with the top 3 whilst we have a bit of movement just below him as Daz_Blade takes advantage of a Cal_BCFC no show to rise to 5th. There was also a bit of a change in the mid-table area as shudewill has managed to creep, quite literally, above Super_horns into 8th place and just below those the battle for a top 10 finish goes on as TAFKAP, Connor & RedDogChris, who eventually claimed the lowest score of the week, swapped positions multiple times during the course of the day before settling back into the positions they begun the day in. Mini-League Series It's the end of Season 5 and also the end of the 3 group structure but before the group amendments happen there are points to hand out! It was a tight affair at the top of The Super League group but Vanni comes out on top to claim the maximum points which is enough to see them to the top of the overall table whilst StretfordEnd takes the runners up prize to remain in the hunt for the end of season trophy. Daz_Blade and Super_horns endured fairly quiet endings to the season but it got a bit tasty at the bottom. Despite Cal_BCFC handing himself a relegation, the battle for the final spot went down to the very final matches and thanks to two 2nd half Atletico goals, I just about survived courtesy of my superior Not To Score tally as Garrincha found themselves in the bottom 2 and heading through the trapdoor. In The Premier Division group SalopTillIDie was pushed all the way by TAFKAP but ultimately it is Salop with the big points from this group which is enough to see him up to 2nd in the overall table whilst TAFKAP's promotion points are enough to see him back into a positive total. shudewill finished safe from relegation but adrift of the top 2 but just below him there was excitement off the scale as Colinmorriswalksonwater managed to overturn the 1 point deficit and rise out of the relegation zone thanks to their better Not To Score tally as Connor finished in the danger zone to drop to a minus total in the overall table, whilst TLC's no show the other week had already condemned her to a bottom place finish and a slide down the overall table. Both avoid relegation though as the group below has been liquidated! The final season of The Pub Division was already sorted in terms of the top 2 but we did still see a change as CFC91 has snatched top spot from RedDogChris but both go up to the next group and both rise to a positive total in the overall group GOS Cup In a surprise twist (it was even a surprise to me), the GOS Cup has also commenced this week (basically I realised I needed to do it this week to be able to actually fit it all into this season) and it will take the same structure as last season where the top 6 as of the end of Week 29 get a bye to the Last 16 for being GOS superstars this season and the remaining 9 will battle out in a round-robin type group stage where each player will play each other once (highest scorer in each fixture will get 3 points, and ties will be a point apiece) and the top 2 of the group will make up the final 2 places in the Last 16. In the first batch of fixtures there were winners in each tie as shudewill narrowly defeated Super_horns whilst TAFKAP gets off to a winning start with a 2 point win over Connor. TLC blitzed Garrincha to take an early lead in the group whilst Colinmorriswalksonwater also makes a good start with victory over RedDogChris All of your scores for the week, along with the new table, latest League Trophy results and the latest mini-season tables can now be found below. Navigate through the different weeks by clicking on the tabs at the bottom. If you spot an error then just let me know! The players are in alphabetical order to give you a clue as to how far you have to scroll right to find your scores and it is still the same in that the league tables include the number of Full Houses (FH), Not To Scores (NTS) and Double Points Selections (DB) you've been successful with as well as your total points. I will use those 3 things (in this order) to determine the outcome of any ties Player of the Month: August - @Tomohawk September - @Connor. & @Tomohawk October - @SalopTillIDie November / December - @SalopTillIDie January - @Tomohawk February - @Vanni March - ???
Knew Westerlo would do well not only because of table position and goals scored (and Oostende conceded) but also becaue this happened the last time they met
