    Excellent from Wales .

Very impressive lead by Bale (penalty apart!)

Good to see Robert Page doing well.

Love Soyuncu, one of my favourite players, but he really is just not the same player without a leader like Jonny Evans alongside him. Sad to see him looking so poor in both games. :(

    Get in there! Buzzing.

Fantastic, had so many clear chances and it really should have been more. Bale's penalty would have made it so much more comfortable, but he more than did his bit with two assists. Aaron Ramsey silencing his doubters as well, although he should have scored a hat-trick. We were vulnerable from set pieces, they seemed to win the first ball at every corner, but that was the only real weak point of the side. Players like Joe Morrell and Chris Mepham really stood up and were counted today.

They were bad defensively, and didn't really make any changes as the game went on to prevent us going through. However, to be honest for us the Russia game is heralded as the ultimate Welsh performance from 2016 and the same questions could be asked about their team and tactics. We've played plenty of sides who have been bad tactically recently, and in our history, and struggled. For us, any win at a major tournament is going to be a huge deal, and it was a game in which we were the bookies underdogs going in to the game and effectively playing away from home.

Definitely through to the last 16, there's no chance 4 points isn't enough for a place in the next round. The odds of having five groups out of six, having 4 or more points with a better goal difference is next to none. We will definitely want to be finishing top two though, looking at the brackets whether it be scraping through on goal difference or getting something in that Italy game. I think if Italy win tonight, there's every chance they'll play a complete second string like they did against Ireland four years ago.

    I'd prefer Italy smash Switzerland.

I expect Switzerland to run Italy close if not beat them.

Two similar teams in quality, although Italy has the name/reputation behind them.

    Chuffed with that.

And the good news is Kieffer is a beast on penalties.

I believe that last penalty we scored was vs Serbia, Ramsey's chip against Serbia. He used to be on them for us, or at least rotate with Bale. Don't know if Ramsey will be on the next one?

Yeh, could be. Kieffer just runs up and leathers it. Pin-point accuracy for Cardiff last season. Maybe he’s now in contetntion too.

Well Switzerland are an average team and before this tournament started Italy looked average. Italy look very good in the first 110 minutes of this tournament though

Rightfully so. He controlled the ball with his arm. Accidental or not he gained an advantage. That ball was going into the keepers arms if his hand wasn't in that position

I can barely work out the permutations if England get through to the next round so not a clue who Wales could face?

    Could anyone shed any light?

No, they didn't - they've been excellent under Mancini.
