Oh, you absolutely do get carried away

Us being rubbish and getting over excited about our first tourny in 23 years doesn't change that.

Most Scotland fans know we're not up to it. For the first time in a while though I think it's mainly down the the manager we have in place and the cautious approach than the ability of our players. It's our strongest squad in quite a while but we were still quite lucky to even qualify.

I do agree with you that there were some mental comments pre game though from pundits and commentators

Maguire has declared himself fit and ready to play against Scotland. Great, but he should be watching from the bench.

Be a terrible decision to play him in my opinion.

    Dear Scotland,

Any chance you can roll over here please? I have looked at the schedule and if we finish 2nd in group it will be impossible for me to watch the 5pm Q-F if we get there.

Whereas if we top the group I can watch any/all of the games.

    Sure you understand.

    Much appreciated,

    The Doc.

    Dear Scotland.

3rd or 4th may work for The Doc too.

    Kind regards,

    Riverside.

I mean we'll roll over anyway but since we're negotiating...
    Dear England
Please allow us to be our country, we'll bend over and give you a 3 0 victory in the Euros in return......

I see a similar sort of game to the one against Panama in 2018 tomorrow.

Mate we've already rolled the red carpet out for you for your independence and you lot turned it down!

So we'll be more than happy to accept a bending over as a thank you.

    Cheers fella!

I'd be mildly disappointed if we don't hit at least three past them tomorrow. They have Grant Hanley in defence FFS.

Last time we played them at Wembley it took some Rickie Lambert magic to beat them. They might not be the best team but they will work hard and frustrate us. I'll take any win, narrow or not. A win is a win in a tournament. F*ck the football, it's all about winning.

It'll be tighter than that. I reckon we'll go 2 up, the Scots will get one back and it'll be squeaky bum time but we'll just hold on. 2-1 England.

Yeah, you're right I'm probably doing the Jocks a disservice really.

    Just 4-0 then.

We beat them comfortably 3-0 last time at Wembley and had some shite playing like Dier and Lallana.

Don't doubt they'll work hard but they'll still be hammered.

Them needing to win plays into our hands even further.

Would love to see us get an early goal tomorrow, with the pressure of them needing a result + how pumped they will be for tomorrow, I think they could crumble if we take the lead early on.

I wouldn't bother risking Maguire tomorrow. We should have more than enough quality to beat Scotland without him. Give him a run-out in the Czech game and see how he fares.

Good shout , I'd give the boy Southgate a run out .
If Scotland play Forrest & Adams they can cause us a few problems .
Think Southgate will stick with the same team to be honest.

Didn't know Panama were European , or the Argentinian ref in the Ukraine / Macedonia game :confused
