How can it be interesting when we don't know what any of the match ups are yet?

Some teams are too unrealistic i.e. Birmingham City, Scunthorpe

Yeah, Wales vs San Marino would be epic, San Marino having thrashed Brazil 15-0 in the round of 16

Lets get this thread back on topic.
France, Portugal and Brazil have qualified for the ro16, while Canada and Qatar have been eliminated

Four juicy ties coming up tomorrow morning. The group A games kick off too early for me so I’ll no doubt be waking up to the Dutch winning the group and Ecuador sneaking in through the side door. As far as our group is concerned I can see Wales treating this game with the death or glory tag that they’ve carried since the 11th century. They have to be beat us by four goals (I think) so it should be wide open. In the other game I can see the Infidels crashing out in a non blaze of glory..

If the favourites win (which will obviously not happen) then the QF's are looking tasty.

    Holland-Argentina
    Croatia-Brazil
    England-France
    Spain-Portugal

    It's all written for a Messi-Ronaldo final isn't it...

Nah Portugal are the weakest in their side of the bracket, no way they get to the final. Brazil v France is more likely
