Atleast he had the decency to get the job done at Wembley and concentrated on the job in hand, unlike our snake 3 years back.

Doncaster have lost a 1st team regular to Fleetwood. Another example of a big club stealing the best players from a small club.

We offered him a deal in Feb, similar to what he was on now, he wanted more, we didn't think he was worth it so left it till the new manager came in. Wellens comes in then Halliday within a couple of week is asking for a new contract with what we offered him originally and Wellens tells him to f*ck off, we can do better.

Hearing worrying noises coming from your fans about players possibly walking because of wages not being paid still. I will never wish any of this admin type crap on any club regardless of tribalism. We are all football fans, and your fans been ripped off by a shyster IMO. My club was on the brink until Patrick Cryne stepped in. You need a similar savior who actually gives a fck. I hope you sort this out, I really do.

Yep, even the "under Contract" players are rumoured to be wanting to hand in their notices as they're constantly not being paid on time or paid in full.
Tbh it explains the players efforts (or lack of) last season.
Can't say as I blame them, if they're not getting paid, then it's only natural that they want out, there's been talk about them being in breach of contract if they walk out, but surely the Club (well Chansiri) breached the Contract first by not paying them.

That's only scratching the surface, some of the Shit surrounding the selling of the ground to himself (or a made up business he owns) and the implications of the 20 Year rent at £4 million a year are frightening.

I'm sure there's much more still to come out too.
Wish he'd just piss off, but as he's unlikely to take another big hit, in terms of cash lost, I can't see that happening without us going into admin.
Great times to be an Owl.

One rumour I'm hearing is that 12 million is owed in unpaid wages. If that's true it's pretty shocking.

I see Robinson is kicking up a stink about certain clubs offering £10k a week for defenders, presumably alluding to us, Ipswich or Sheff Wed. Quit your whinging you horrible twat.

Wouldn't be Sheffield Wednesday if you've read through the posts. Anyway Karl Robinson in having a whinge shocker!

First up Burton at home, next Morecambe away. That’ll do! Hopefully away fans will be allowed.

Morecambe at home, Burton away for us. More than decent start potentially. That is if we scrape together a team by then; apparently we have 11 who are considered first team and the other 462 are training with u23s, including Downes, Bishop, Dobra, Jackson and Kenlock. Risky strategy from Cook, but hopefully we can shift them soon.

Wigan first up for us at home, and a quick return to the SoL for Max Power. Can’t wait to get back.

    Steve Cotterill | My Covid-19 Battle - Part 1

Steve Cotterill talks for the first time about what happened in his Covid ordeal (part 1), please watch if you can as I feel we can all benefit from it. I did not realise he was in such a state and what he has explained was worse than first thought. He had to have a PICC line installed from his bicep all the way to his heart but that went wrong and punctured his lungs, he was was suffering from Emphysema. He did not say it but anybody would’ve thought he was going to die with all the suffering he was going through.

Been hard to watch what happened to Steve this past year. I was bracing myself for bad news at times. The bloke is an absolute hero in our parts.

Ipswich and Plymouth legend Paul Mariner passed away this morning at 68 years old. I believe he had been struggling with brain cancer for the past couple of years.

He played before my time but he was my mums favourite player when she was younger and my dad has always raved about him.

My only real memory of him is when we played Plymouth when he was their manager, his first return to Portman Road for many many years. They beat us 3-0 and after the game he was given a standing ovation by the crowd. He gave his jacket away to one of our fans and then had to make a public appeal to get it back because he left his glasses in the pocket.

RIP Paul, hopefully you will be watching the England game tomorrow night with Sir Bob and Kevin Beattie and we bring it home for you.
