We signed 17 year old Callum Doyle on loan from Manchester City yesterday.

Started our friendly today and was outstanding. Got MOTM. Hope he continues in the same vein.

We've signed 21 year old keeper Adam Przybek on a one year deal after he was released by Ipswich and will start as our numer 2 keeper behind David Stockdale.

Can't tell you much about him. He played in a Trophy game 2 seasons ago against Peterborough and saved a couple of penalties in a shootout. Aside from that I think he spent most of his time here on loan to non-league sides.

Yeah i read that he went out on loan to a few clubs but our goalkeeping coach rates him and that's good enough for Ainsworth, he's only signed a one year contract so we'll see how it goes.

Scored a few goals at least.

Think he is quite tall and physical so probably be a good asset in League One but guess might be a bit raw lacking experience.

Yeah I think the lack of senior football may mean he’s a bit like Taylor Richards last season, unplayable in some games but a bit of a passenger in others. Sounds like a fair few clubs wanted him on loan

Mo Eisa to MK Dons. I think they could spring a surprise this year, although losing Fraser to us will be a blow.

Quite ludicrous how our forum has gone from the depths of despair to winning the league on the back of one signing.

    That's football fans for you!

I'll be backing him at 33's to finish in top 4 goalscorers if he plays in a 2 , if solely on his own he's sh*te , can't head a ball , won't tackle or track back but a born finisher , why he's chosen those cnuts I don't know so part of me wants him to fail :D

Presumably he'll play in a 2 with Max Watters?

That’s a very solid looking attack to be fair if Watters can find his Crawley form. Still can’t believe we dropped the ball on him

Johnson has said he wants six more signings at least. Here’s hoping they’re coming soon, though there’s plenty time left before panic stations.

Charlton fans won’t be happy :roflmao

They were furious that we had the audacity to be looking at one of their strikers they were trying to keep so god only knows what they’re thinking now.

Wow. That is actually quite remarkable, unless they’re paying stupid money which I’m guessing they are.

    Three factors, I'd guess.

They're probably paying at least 2 or 3 times what we could offer him and at least matching offers from the likes of Charlton.

A 3 year contract on those wages is not to be sniffed at.

I think he genuinely did want to move back near to family and the likes of Salford and Bolton weren't comfortable to offer 3 years on that money when he's unproven or at least failed to shine at L1 level but clearly will bang them in at Conference/L2 level.

Don't blame the fellah and thankful for the season and a bit he gave us.
