I'd have had Cole at LB. I would have picked Moore but in the time I've been watching football Sol/Rio have been England's best CB pairing imo. I went for players I had seen rather than players from before my time. Was also going for a traditional 4-4-2 and went for players suited to those positions. Had one eye on shirt numbers too as I wanted one to eleven. Gerrard was the only one I hadn't planned for, wasn't sure who to pick in there. Needed someone more defensive really.

Guessed it. From looking at the All time England squad thread I saw that only Cole, maybe Moore, Banks, Charlton (apparently according to most football historians the best English player ever), Greaves, Robson from my first choicewould have been picked so took them first Not much time until Monday, busy with work, sorry
