Also the whole they can't shoot thing is a big problem. One thing I saw was a conspiracy theory that the Lakers are intentionally playing Russ and letting him take a bunch of shots because they want to show other teams that they're getting complete garbage and that they can actually have a more successful tanking to get Webanyama . Mitchell seems to be in a better situation at the moment. Here's a trade that could make sense. Or you could do Clarkson instead of Beasley. The Lakers would of course have to add the two first rounders that they can top-3 protect. Jazz get an inefficient player and better odds at the Webanyama lottery. Lakers get a legitimate playmaker, a decent wing scorer/shooter off the bench (whether it's Beasley or Clarkson), and a decent big-man to be AD's deputy off the bench.
