I doubt Everton would pay him anymore than us?

And why would he want to leave after all he’s achieved in the last 18 months. He isn’t gonna go back to Everton

Seriously? You're talking about a club that's spend upwards of half a billion on players in the last 5 years. If they think getting Moyes back would result in trophies (yes, I laughed too), they will pay more than West Ham.

We have sold like £300m worth of players in that time too. But yeah we would pay more than you

Not quite. £536m bought, £261m sold. Which is still shit given the return of precisely nothing.

Besides, whenever I've mentioned Liverpool's net spent of a mere £92m in the last 5 years for the return of silverware we've brought in (only 4 teams in the top flight have spent less), I'm told net spend doesn't count.

I think Potter is a good manager. If DCL played for Brighton last year, they probably finish higher than Everton.

Does seem exactly what Brighton would’ve needed last year, someone clinical finish chances off within 10 yards

I think Potter would do a good job, might see Michael Keane as a flying wing back ala Dan Burn:laugh:

Been rubbished at our end. I think (hope) that Potter realises that if we have a similar season next year but actually finish our chances he’ll get offers from much better clubs than Everton.

Apart from an 18 point difference.

For all of you with difficultly with comprehension. If Potter was in charge of Everton's squad last season, they make top 6. Easily.

To drive home the point further, Graham Potter is good. Damn good.

I think Arsenal made a mistake when they decided to go for Arteta, when Potter was available.

I think he was linked to them at one point too, would have been a really shrewd appointment.

Everton would do well to get him, probably the best option they could ask for.

A few club ITK’s have said that we are trying to get Galtier. Apparently that’s who Brands wants.

Yeah you need to be aiming higher than a Brighton manager.

What makes you think this? I obviously don't watch too much of Brighton (they looked good in their wins against us!), but haven't they finished in the same place with him these last 2 seasons as they did before? Has he been working with constraints that make staying in the same position a success?

He gets a below average squad to play very good football, with plenty of chances being created (and wasted) - it follows that a better squad with more clinical players would really flourish under him.
