I can see him asking Everton to go for Neves. I reckon he'll want Neto too depending on how well he recovers from the injury.

Before you knowing, Everton will be renamed to Everfica.

I don’t think Nuno would go for that given he managed Porto.

They are trying to sell Neves right and Everton would need to readjust their lineup and midfield so that could be a reasonable prediction

I definitely don't think he's a bad manager, and you have clearly improved your style of play to be much more dominating in games rather than just hoping for smash and grab.

I was questioning why Potter would have Everton finish higher than Ancelotti, you've admitted yourself that he hasn't managed to do it with you, where the scope for league improvement is greater.

Maupay is a weird one. At Brentford in his last year he scored loads (more than Watkins the year after), there's obviously some talent there to score.

Nuno's odds have gone from 1/12 to 1/2 in the past hour.

More issues with the size of his backroom staff/Mendes?

There’s a joke in there using the words “member” and “size”, I’m sure of it.

Looks like we’re out for Nuno too. I don’t
Know what’s going on now. Paul Joyce is saying we’re in for Rafa.

It needs to be someone whose ambitions matches that of the club. Maybe Jim Royle?

It seems Nuno is very rigid in how much control he has. Everton was the best club he could get right now I think he's going to end up out of the game for a long time unless he becomes more realistic.

Everton fans need to swallow their pride if Rafa is a serious contender, he is the best candidate for them I don't know why he is mocked and derided so much these days tbh, he would provide consistency and be the first manager to get them challenging top 6 season upon season since Moyes imo

Benitez would be a very solid appointment for Everton.

Dunno who the f*ck they think they're going to get.

Would suit Rafa well from a practical stance.

But cannot imagine the fans will give him any leeway at all. Would need to have quite an impact, quite soon.

Its about the level they are at tbh, maybe even a bit lower but don't think they will like it and he will be given no slack at all.

Am I the only one who thinks Rafa is a better appointment than Nuno?

Nope. I’m happy with Rafa if it happens. I never wanted Nuno. It just smelt like a Silva appointment all over again. And I just don’t think we have the team to play to Nunos’s style.

Rafa is actually a perfect transition manager for them till they get to the new stadium but I don't think he'll last that long.
