Roy Hodgson has apparently demanded QPR cough up £1.7m if they want to sign Lee Cook. If not, then look elsewhere for another injury plagued winger.

Hope they pay the full amount that we paid them. Apparently they paid £300,000 for the loan deal. So that should recouperate all the money we paid them.

Sanchez brought him when he was on the sick list and it wasn't until something like four months later he was back to full fitness and at the time down the left flank Simon Davies and Clint Dempsey were ahead of him in the pecking line.

It seems our new moneybags owners are more interested in decorating the place and pricing fans out of the market than improve things on the pitch.

It's because their owners don't give two shits about the fans and would rather have them as an expensive Football Manager game. So much for being one of the richest clubs in the world.

Nah mate, a club with rich owners. And you're right, more and moreit's becoming obvious that this is becoming a wee social club for the rich and famous.

With Fulham you don't get that feeling. You get more of a sense that the owner actually loves the club and believes that spending £150m+ is worth it.

I'm waiting for Briatore et al to convince me otherwise about their intentions.

Don't think they will ever do that. Don't they want to move you to near Reading?

I heard that they want to flatten Laughtus Road and make it a club like Briatore's (sp) club in Monaco.

Don't worry about him. He is our mentally impaired fan.

No. Fulham and QPR are exactly the same. Both sold out to the increasing trend of well off foreign owners. Both club's millionaire owners are only interested in earning money off the clubs, "love" certainly does not come into it. Premier League football clubs are a great way of making millions and also having your own "play thing" if you are a rich foreigner mildly interested in football.

I feel for Fulham. I know a few Fulham fans who hate life in their all seater stadium, struggling in a league to big for them and being part of the 'prawn sandwich brigade'. Most have been priced out of their season tickets. QPR will be next. The only difference is once QPR are in the Premier League, they will remain there for the forseeable future (they won't go up this year though). Fulham will be relegated soon and find it difficult to return to the top flight. Of course this is only my opinion, but an opinion many would agree with.

Anyway, look forward to knocking either of you out of the Cup this year... :therethere

How can anyone hate life in Craven Cottage? Some people may prefer to stand but that doesn't mean they hate it!

Also, how can a bitter Brentford fan talk about Premier League matters when they have never been there.
